Yeah. Similar to AFK, if you get garbage selections you just lose ... only this time you lose after a lot longer wait and you can't recover (whereas afk can)

Some people enjoy slot machines. Some people enjoy Battelgrounds. Some people throw their entire lives away playing slot machines. Some people throw their entire lives away playing battlegrounds.

I agree. This patch has ruined my desire to play. It seems to be "high roll or perish" ... before this patch, 4 or 5 people got lucky good builds. Now, 1 or 2 people do. Everyone else just plays whatever is good enough until they are hit for 25 out of nowhere and then start over, hoping to get lucky. The skill level, which was already low, has been lowered dramatically.

The patch was an experiment. And it has failed.

Oh well!

Just had a great(ish) murloc run as Shudderwok. Had 5 triples at 5 ... not a single fucking megasaur. How is that possible? Brann never showed up either (was at 5 for about 5 rounds). I had a golden Zap ... wtf. Fuck this game.

my biggest frustration is AFK. It seems like I ALWAYS face afk in their third power spike turn. EXCEPT when I have rafaam. Then IALWAYS face her on turn 2 when she has no minions. I actually tracked this for a day and the rng was absurd. 10 games with afk and 8 times it happened like this.

 A response to this and an update to my previous salt post. I DID IT!! I had a perfect game with Patchwork. Ended with 50 health. With a deathrattle beast build!

Little about me. I have never had a perfect run. I've always wanted a perfect run. I play around 6000. Not great (I concede too often when angry or bored lol and I don't really play for top four ... I go for #1 or bust). But I am okay.

I was gifted a great Tirion board. I had FIVE Bolvars early. I stomped people. Was going into the last battle with 40 health. I was ready. I was going to do it. It was with Tirion, which is a little cheap (I created the post bitching about Tirion after all lol) ... but I was going to do it! The perfect game. I didn't say those words out loud. You don't fuck with a streak.

The board loaded. Divine shield poisonous murlocs as far as the eye can see. I didn't have a chance.

I did not have a perfect game. I conceded in shame.

Watching one of Kripp's latest videos and toward the beginning he gives his take on how to nerf Tirion: "Remove Righteous Protector from the game."

It's actually quite clever. That solve a ton of problems with his mega-power in mid-game.

I understand he's really awesome to get and moonwalk to top two. But holy cow, is there anything more tilting than having anotherwise decent run destroyed by getting hit for 15 in the midgame because they have two 12/12 righteous protectors...

My two biggest are: 

1) Going beasts and Pack Leader / Hyena gets sniped IMMEDIATELY (even after taunts) in the midgame, making the stretch to late game deathrattle build TOUGH.

2) Fuck murlocs. Tier 4 triples giving shit options. No seers EVER showing up. No megasaurs or, maybe worse, awful options from megasaurs.

Honorable mention for facing AFK on turn three. Man that rarely feels good. Or ... playing as AFK and getting garbage picks lol.

I concede too often. I can usually tell when a run isn't going to be all that fun and I'd rather start fresh and have fun than claw for a 4th place finish (which I am almost never happy with). Kills my rating being a little concede-happy but I don't care. I'd rather have fun with my limited gaming time lol.
