Hello everyone, rare shaman player here and I have a deck I have been working on for a while (well a few shaman decks but this one for now) that I feel could be better! I am still fairly new to this game and even knowing Shamans state in HS (a meme) I stick to my guns to try to make them work (also have a rinlock deck that is sooooo much easier to win with lol).
It is a jade elemental deck which is not uncommon I suppose. I have tried running a more pure elemental version many times (to get away from Jade stuff which is leaving) but can never seem to get that deck to fly sadly.

I struggle against really fast aggro decks which is when I dropped 1 devolve for 1 Lightning Storm. I do not have maelstrom portals sadly. I was running Skulking Gheist but I dropped it due to not running into my evil and far more lame and boring counterpoint, Jade Druid and seeing how Warlock is actually one of my easiest matchups I dropped it. Lightwarden is not something I am married to, sometimes it works, often she gets killed quickly but a healing rain with her is fun, also works with healing totem etc.
I have considered adding in Eater of Secrets due to fighting mass amounts of Secret Mage and a fair few secret hunter decks...worth?
Anyways I am sure some of you have far more exp then I do and I am wondering how to make this deck better and more consistent to climb with?

Malchezaar seems like a poor addition. You're diluting your draws and making it harder to find key cards like Frost Lich Jaina. I'd stick with the Pyros/N'Zoth combo if you want value, personally.

Witchwood preorder is the best deal you're ever going to get with real money. 70 packs there plus whatever promo packs you get is likely going to be plenty.
I don't typically spend on classic packs because you'll continue to get them via tavern brawl and spectator quests, but it's not a bad investment. Personally, I'd buy Frozen Throne or Kobolds packs. I think those sets have the most impact epics, and Frozen Throne has a lot of playable legendaries. Yeah, they'll rotate eventually, but it's going to be another full year and many of the meta decks will likely require some of those cards. Depends on the state of your collection, though.

Heh. Turn 1 Fireball, Fireball, Pyroblast, Pyroblast is the new double Shadowstep + Keleseth.

Problem is, it's bad right now but it's also losing most of its best cards.
The entire Jade package (Jade Claws is important for early board control), Devolve (great for taking out Dude and Murloc Paladin boards and getting through taunt walls), Doppelgangster + Evolve, Maelstrom Portal (good luck against Dude Paladin without this), Thing from Below, and Flamewreathed Faceless.
The class is only going to get so many cards next expansion; seems like they'd have to hit on almost all of them to push the class into T2 territory.

Seeing Call to Arms in control Paladin is definitely unsettling. I'm trying to think of other cards that have been used in both the slowest and fastest archetypes for a particular class.
Fiery War Axe, per-nerf.
Kobold Librarian sees play in both control and zoo lock, though it's not really a crucial card. Doomguard and Bloodreaver Gul'dan also appear in both; I think there are some fairly strong opinions about those cards.
Ice Block sees some play in both secret and control Mage, and it's getting the HOF treatment.
There are probably some more examples, but very few where it's an impact card.

Major thumbs up. This is a synergy I'd never considered.
I don't have Val'anyr. What would you suggest as a replacement?

Opened The Darkness when I was still at 27 on my pity timer, so I'll take it. Also a Gather Your Party; not overly significant, but I do want to dick around with recruit warrior some and I only had one copy prior.

Not in the least. Frostlich Jaina carries Big Spell mage. Malfurion is definitely playable; Jade Druid has just fallen out of the meta. Thrall was playable until Shaman became dumpster tier. Valeera and Garrosh are both powerful cards that simply lack support at the moment, and I'd probably say the same for Uther. The only blemish is Rexxar, and like all Hunter legendaries it's a result of just not having the control tools to make it work.
Either way, I think they were wildly successful and I expect to see almost all of them get some play throughout the Year of the Raven.
