At 4 mana, it's not an oppressive early game tempo tool like Fiery War Axe pre-nerf. And at just 2/2, it's not nasty face basher like Arcanite Reaper, either. Its value comes with board control and playing into the many synergies that Warrior (particularly quest warrior) has. Need card draw? It'll get you an extra Acolyte of Pain trigger. Need armor? Play it onto a big board with an Armorsmith. Need to clear a wide board? Pair it with Sleep with the Fishes! and you can do some serious damage. Want a serious tempo swing? Save that deathrattle trigger for a turn 9 King Mosh!
Control warrior is in a bad state right now, but if the next expansion brings any additional help for these decks, Blood Razor should get the credit it deserves. I think it's an interesting, balanced card that breathes a lot of life into what was previously a pretty dull deck to play.
No. It just happens to be a good card printed for a class that was already oppressive.
May you give me an example of a card you consider is better?
Drakonid Operative pretty much single-handedly revived the Priest Class during MSOG. Low cost weapons like Fiery War Axe and pre-nerf Spirit Claws are also typically very powerful regardless of which deck you're running.
UI is a 10 cost spell with a limited removal effect. It's powerful because Druid is already so powerful that they're able to either build an enormous board before then, or ramp up (innervate was a huge part of this) and play it before their opponent can really threaten them. Without innervate, you're effectively going to have to wait an extra two turns to play it, and that's time that aggro and midrange decks can really pressure you. I think you're going to find that it's been indirectly nerfed.
When comparing this to other 3-cost weapons, do keep in mind: even without an added effect, the synergy from cards like Upgrade! and Bloodsail Cultist make this a better card in context. Unless secret hunter or divine shield paladin manage to creep into relevance, this is still a better card.
Cards that you're going to play anyways, and, in the case of the minions, will stick around because it's a free trade. Shaman is built around having a wide board right now, so you're typically going to have something out there to clear it off. Mage actually has to devote two mana on a one time ping to clean up the sheep.
For Snowfury Giant to pay dividends, you need a way to get extra copies of it, imo. Spirit Echo was mentioned, of course. I'd still love to find a way to make it work with Moorabi, but that ship may have sailed for this expansion. You could also include a small Elemental package with the hopes of pulling it from Servant of Kalimos (and Kalimos, Primal Lord would be a nice fallback option, as well).
Good luck, though! It might be a whole new meta with these nerfs, so who knows what will creep into T2 range?
Yes. This has been one of the most powerful cards in the game for a long time. Has there been a Warrior deck in the history of the game that didn't auto-include this card?
Yes. Honestly, it's not even a fun card. Renounce Darkness at least gets you a full deck of random cards with cost reduction. Lillian only gets you what's in your hand and at full cost. So you get a strong body, a hand of mostly useless cards, then you're left with a silly, spell-heavy deck.
Yeah. The DKs are outstanding cards, imo. Anduin, Gul'Dan, and Jaina all ushered in new win conditions. Uther, Valeera, Thrall, and Malfurion are playable in existing archetypes. Rexxar came up short, but it's still an incredible value card and just needs a little help from new class cards to be viable. That'll be an interesting one to watch in future expansions.
It sucks that Druid got tilted a bit too far, but overall I think it's a great card set. I hope they manage to find a subtle change to balance out the meta within the next few weeks.

I'm starting this topic mostly as an ode to what I think is the best-designed card of the expansion:
Blood Razor

When would you use them? You can't drop them during the Frostmourne phase or you risk him trading his final Trapped Soul into it.
