    Nah, but the classes I've invested dust in just aren't competitive, and I didn't open the epics or legendaries to play the new decks that I would like to try out (and obviously am waiting for things to settle before I craft).

    I've run into a few of these; looks like a fun deck. Conjurer's Calling is outstanding and really forces your opponent to remove everything. I tend to clean them up with my control Shaman, though. Hagatha's Scheme (usually 3 in a game if I play it right) plus Zentimo --> Hex tends to mop those boards up.

    Any consideration for Barista Lynchen? I'm loving this card in pretty much every deck I play. You could potentially copy Kalecgos or Sunreaver Warmage as it is. It's also a nice way to get an extra ooze for all of these multi-weapon decks running rampant right now. Adding an Arcane Keysmith or two to take advantage of it may not be a bad move, either.

    Awesome, glad you're digging it. She was my first leg this xpac and I haven't tested her out. I am, however, absolutely loving Madame Lazul (which doesn't come as a surprise seeing as my previous favorite card was Chameleos). I just had a hopeless game against bomb warrior with my control/spell Priest where I at least made it interesting at the end by discovering his 14/14 Emeriss-buffed Archivist Elysiana, then using Seance on it for a fatigue advantage.

    Alas, I got lousy discovers and his Dr. Boom hero power and 50+ armor stockpile was too much to overcome. Still, very interesting game that would have been really dull if not for Lazul.

    I like pretty much anything remotely competitive, but unfortunately the "summoning large minions" plan just isn't that in a world where there's not a decent taunt or aoe clear below the 5 mana slot. The armor loss with Arcane Artificer is tough on its own, but it's compounded by the loss of neutral cards like Tar Creeper and Plated Beetle that stemmed the tide early. Then you look around the rest of the meta where other classes have lost cards like Defile and Duskbreaker that kept aggro in check... I know it's early and aggro usually dominates at this point, but I get the feeling we're in for a fast meta.

    I'm not having great success with tempo/burn Mage yet, but one interaction I kind of like is Mana Reservoir into Faceless Rager. It's awfully tough to remove a 6 health minion on turn 2 or 3 so usually it gets ignored and you drop a 5/6 on the following turn. Then they have to deal with that, and you're sitting on a +1 spellpower minion that hangs around and buffs your spells!

    I built a random Shaman deck in my first attempt at using some new cards and threw one ooze in there. First three games were all against Spectral Cutlass rogue and in all three I got 25 cards into my deck without finding it.

    Suffice it to say, I'm tilted on day one of the expansion. Better luck tomorrow, I guess.

    It's a 9 mana play that doesn't affect the board. The hero power is largely useless against combo, and it takes a lot going right to find a situation where you can safely play it again aggro or midrange unless you've managed to get a Doomsayer off. And even then, your wellies can often be removed from hand before you stabilize with the lifesteal.

    It's a very strong card, but putting on the same level as Deathstalker Rexxar or Ghoul Man seems a bit much to me. The latter two have both been staples in T1 decks. Has control Mage ever hit that level?

    I have a habit of loving every single Shaman card so I can't claim to be unbiased, but this seems like an objectively good card. Whether it'll fit into a workable archetype, though, I'm not entirely sure. Though, you don't necessarily have to get to turn 8 to play it: Eureka!

    But meh. Recruit Warrior had some outstanding cards last meta but still came up short. Too slow, and not enough to do on early turns. But hey, not every card is designed for the ladder; maybe there'll be something fun to do with this in casual.

    Holy crap, that's some cheap refill. And there's not even a risk of filling your hand with Glacial Mysteries due to the rotation!

    This could be frustrating in standard if tempo mage becomes a thing and your opponent pulls a bunch of burn damage from this. But it should be tons of fun in casual. If only Leyline Manipulator weren't rotating!
