posted a message on What do you think is the best deck to ladder with right now?

I enjoy playing "Freeze Mage" one of the few counters I've found to those pesky Secret and Anyfin Paladins.   My  fav class though CW but it just is not happening right now with the current meta.

Antonidas is just a strong mage staple.  Justicar is really more for control type decks though not class specific it works best in CW and Priest decks. Its somewhat viable in Paladin but there are better options these days.  It really depends what kind of deck(s) you want to run with.

You can use "druid of the flame" in place of shade for faster tempo but be warned of priest also you may want to consider tech options to fill this slot such as "mind control tech" x1 it really depends what your seeing on ladder... ex.  are you facing a lot of zoo etc.  Shade's are ideal but you can manage without them.

If you don't have Naxx I am going to just assume you may not have TGT in which case you may not have living roots.  If this is true then you may want to run 2 claws.  where most list today would ask you to run 2 roots.  If you do have TGT my apologies.

If you have CW deck I think I would personally build the midrange druid deck to have at least two solid decks, looking at them both as investments.

posted a message on Mal'ganis or Antonidas craft?

I don't own Mal'Ganis.  However I do have a copy of Antonidas.  With regards to Antonidas it is a solid card in its own right wielded in just about any mage build...  so its a great investment card.  I don't play enough Warlock to know just how many builds Mal'Ganis fits into.  However something was apparent in your post.  You clearly had more to say with regards to Warlock, and made it clearly known you played it more... so just as an opinion you may be happier with the Warlock fit that is Mal'Ganis.

Khadgar: Is broken... suppose the mage has mirror entity or counter spell behind Khadgar the secrets would proc but not be destroyed.   Or even duplicate could go on re-proc-ing for as long as Khadgar was present on board.

posted a message on Does Arch-Thief Rafaam have a place in CW?

I have run it in my CW deck I do feel its more a control card as its very late game play.  It is BGH bait if you have not drawn Dr. Boom yet.  As well the spells that are drawn can set up for some good late game recovery if in control match-up and top decking.

posted a message on Nexus Champion Saraad, Deathwing, Malygos

It really depends what decks you like to run.

If you don't mind a little RNG... Nexus Champion is a card that does seem a bit under rated, though I suppose it due to the fact that he is often not dropped till turn 7... though with a fencing instructor played early Nexus Champion could be played turn 5.

Malygos... spell based decks, nuke em down decks.  Malygos generally takes some sort of reduction via"Emperor" thus it is often combo driven.

Deathwing... great if you play control match-ups, fatigue etc.  Perhaps the only caution is knowing how to deal with what you play, Entomb being out there now.

    • Gahz'rilla, Harrison Jones, Edwin Vancleef

I generally advise against disenchanting any legendary as they are so hard to come by and the dust ratio is so not worth it 1600 to make vs 400 returned.   However if your right set on it and it comes down to disenchanting two I would go for the class legendary's because at the very least the neutral can fit in any deck.  In fact I don't think Harrison Jones is a bad card at all considering your getting a 5-4 body on the field, disabling a weapon and drawing x amount of cards as well.   Against Hunters, Rouges, Paladins, or Warriors it may see some play value.

Its all at your discretion though they are your cards but that said all the other cards: The Wisp, Hungry Crab, Southsea Captain, Siltfin Spirit-walker, Eye for an Eye, Golden Scarlet Purifier, Mini Mage, Golden Upgrade, Shadow-bomber, Beastial Wrath, Gladiator's Longbow.   Though not un-usable are all pretty situational or geared to decks of a certain type.

posted a message on What should I craft next?

I would defiantly craft 1 Big Game Hunter.

If your playing mostly druid and mage I think it comes down to deciding how you want to play these classes.  Then assessing the cards you have for each of those classes.  Based on what cards already have.  Are you better equipt to build a taunt druid? or combo druid?  Both Cenarius and the Ancient of War' I believe are more typical of a taunt based druid.  But if you craft BGH I think you'll come up 200 dust short to craft all 3 unfortunately.   While "Force of Nature" is obviously suited to a combo based druid.

As to mage.  The same principle could apply do want to play freeze, mech or tempo mage. You simply need to take assessment of the cards you have already.  Alex is of course necessary for freeze mage tactics.  Antonidas is a nice card in any mage deck.

I think though of all the card you listed the one that I personally would pick is Ysera, as she's a 12 health body and not a BGH target, that fits well in a druid deck and if you tire of either class she is versatile enough to fit into other decks.

I am open to being wrong and learning.  You did a good job with your explanation and I never viewed the attack ratio like that before.  I stand corrected.  Thanks for your information.

posted a message on dragon rogue i've been on when first wing of BRM came

Your deck is an interesting idea dragons for rouges.  But the main thing that sticks out to me is having 11 cards costing 5 mana or more... and a lack of an efficient cycling.   Bloodmage Thalnos, and the two Azure Drake's each cycle for 1 card but outside of this there is no card draw.

Preparation and sprint can do wonders in a bad spot or when falling behind.  Also an Auctioneer though not seen so often these day is an alternative if you like to play minions it also force your opponent into trades while still having great draw potential if you've saved enough spells.  ei: (backstab, coin, deadly poison)

If I removed anything from the deck it would probably be the Clockwork Gnomes and Ysara though you may have success with her, I think in a rouge deck she may prove to slow... but I could be wrong.  It really comes down to your style of play.  I'd consider replacing those cards with  at least 1 prep and 2 sprints or alternatively 2 preps and  1 sprint or 1 auctioneer.

posted a message on Should I DE The Beast and Flame Leviathan to make Dr. Balanced?

The cards were listed and quoted in order of relevance.  To say they are useless is completely destructive and merely based on your style of game play.  The user never stated if they play a hunter or a mage.  Such cards as "The Beast and "Flame Leviathan" may see some merit in decks of those proposed classes.  A Tundra Rhino that sticks around still gives the beast charge, now what hunter out there would not like 9 face damage.  And as quoted and pointed out Flame Leviathan can work in a spell-heavy deck.
