posted a message on New Card Reveal - Grand Crusader, More New Cards Livestream Next Friday

Grand Crusader - Paladin as a class has a lot of great cards, but really none that I can think of that lend themselves to crazy or broken combos. The other thing about this and Burgle is that there's currently 36 class cards, soon to be 45 (I think), with 3 of them being legendary. That means this card has a 6-7% chance to give you a Paladin legendary. Burgle has a 13% chance to give you a legendary class minion. Light's Justice and Eye for an Eye are useless. 2-3 other paladin cards are situationally useless. So that's about an 11% chance to get something useless, an 82% chance to get something useful (and because you're on at least 7 mana by the next turn, almost certainly able to use it), and a 7% chance to get a legendary minion (Bolvar is still a very good card even if it rightfully never makes the cut in constructed). That's more than playable. Thaurissan is amazing if you're playing a control/combo deck where you're clearly hanging on to specific cards. But I would rather top-deck this card, and it works better in a tempo deck. Not better than Sylvanas, but maybe better than Sky-Golem.

Confuse - This card confuses me. I refuse to theorycraft it. Looking forward to playing with it.

posted a message on New Card Reveal: Justicar Trueheart - Gives you new Hero Powers!

Cool design and concept like most legendaries. Fairly poor execution. This will be auto-include in control Warrior. In fact, I think it's completely over-powered in control Warrior decks. Priests will make use of this. A deck has to be built around it for Priest, but I think it can be really effective. I think interesting concept decks could be built around it for Paladin, Rogue, Warlock, and Druid, but it's likely too big of a negative tempo swing to be effective, let alone better than current meta strategies. Way too slow and impotent for already slow shaman. It really highlights how bad Shaman's hero power is relative to the other classes. Irrelevant for Mage (which already has better class specific hero power buffs coming its way) and Hunter (hero power would have to be used twice to make up for a turn where you didn't use it in order to play a 6 mana creature that isn't Savannah Highmane).
