Damn. I see the point of this nerf, this card limited design space like no other, but that's just harsh. The card is absolutely dead right now the way I see it. 4 mana would be bad enough, but this would still be playable - no player damage limits the potential of this card tremendously. The only nerf I really didn't see coming.
But hey, maybe it means more poisons/weapons/weapon based tools for rogue.
Don't think so, Tirion is fine where he is. Without counting his weapon he really is subpar, and the weapon can be nullified with a number of things (Ooze, Harrison, Taunts, too low HP to trade etc). Nerfing an owl might make him best include in most Paladin decks, but I'd argue that for the classic class legendaries that's a good thing. He won't make Mid/Control Paladin unbeatable because of Owl being nerfed, that's for sure.
Now this is actually fun RNG. Watch and learn, Lol-Saron.
Seriously, this card can be both fun and good. Keeping it for the right moment, finding the right minion, maybe it won't happen often, but will be satisfying as hell.
Sludge Belcher should be kept. He is the necessary evil in the world where Face Hunter face hunts. He is like a fat Punisher.
If I was to choose, I'd keep one of many unique TGT legendaries. Troggzor, Sneed, Juggernaut, Gahz'Rilla. Most of those struggled in meta because Boom existed, with his downfall they should see some light.
Again? Bad cards with RNG component do not equal fun. Mad Bomber is fun, you can use it at the right time, and his stats are okay. A card with terrible stats that has no real "right time" to play? Just... why?
While I agree with most of it, it still feels bad when iconic Warcraft characters get such treatment. Yogg Saron is one of my favourite WoW baddies, and his only addition to HS will be one Trolden video.
Great effect, but why on earth did they have to make the card so bad? Mad Bomber on crack, with abysmal stats for its mana cost? Even if it was 10/10 for 10 it would see no play (other than for giggles) with the effect being able to screw you over just as much as help. With those stats it's just... silly bad.
My dream scenario involver running lots of big taunts (Sunwalker, Ironbark Protector, Volcanic Lumberer) my opponent can't deal with for some reason, and just crush him with the neverending flow of those. Or play it in a deck with other Old Gods, just to waste their battlecries... Well, nobody said Old Gods get along.
If they nerf silences (which I kind of hope they will, especially the Owl), this card could be my favourite. Just a buff is generally not enough, that's why Velen's Chosen is so good, it gives spell damage. Buff + card draw is just amazing.
If Hearthstone is lorewise a game that WoW characters might play (ok, it's a stretch, but whatever), then Ragnaros the Lightlord isn't a bad idea. Think about it, for WoW characters Ragnaros is reality. So some warcraftian card crafter simply came up with a fantasy idea of Ragnaros being a minion of the light.
Another boring card constructed upon an already boring card. Well, normal Mukla actually works in some funny scenarios, this one doesn't. It's just a polar opposite of the effect, cool I guess.
I think I'd rather go straight to interesting cards, without the next one being "Archwizard Antonidas: Whenever you cast Fireball, add a random spell to your hand". Or "Noobphet Velen: Halves the damage and healing of your spells and hero power".
So first Blizzard releases Hallazeal, a card with proper stats AND a cool effect, follower by dozens of legendaries with HORRIBLE stats and cool effects?
Dunno, I'm going to try it out if it drops out of my 50 packs, but doesn't seem all that good. Pay 2 more mana for a Bloodfen Raptor that gives you slightly better/sometimes worse Spare Parts? Toshley has proper stats, precisely 2x more stats than its mana cost, and still doesn't see play with almost the same effect.
Some of the poisons aren't that good too. I mean, getting a free Blessing of Might as rogue is great, but it's gonna give you one in only 40% of cases. Cycle is also decen - in some cases. The rest of the effects are pretty niche. Pay 4 mana for Raptor and get 2 worse Conceals that you won't use at all? Kind of pointless.

Tho it's another card to the classic "can't do shit" priest archetype. Not that it would work, like, ever, but hey.

Great combo with Power Overwhelming. I just hope silence is going to be nerfed, cards with effect with such a swing are really hurt by a damn owl.
