I mean it's just cosmetics. That is literally the most inane thing you can get upset about. Maybe go outside and interact with real people a little more.

Priest: bye bye to play 4-5 renew per game
Druid: nice, still a pretty good deck with good combos, BUT, now we dont need to concede on turn 1 when putting 7 minions on board

xskarma posted a message on The New Core Set Revealed Cards - Old, New and Reimagined.Posted in: NewsYes, but unfrotunately Blizzard has not released official art for these yet and the methods we use to create cards have not been updated to reflect the fact we now have spell schools. It's all a WIP. :)

Normally the value written in numbers increases.
So I would expect the two minions to grow into 2/2, 3/3, and so on.
But obv this is only speculation right now

The problem is that priest pushes out all slower decks. It's by far the best control deck right now and can shut down combo setups with Mindrender Illucia.
So nerfing priest will hopefully diversify the slower decks.
Also those nerfs are by no means a "nuke from orbit". Apotheosis probably remains playable but doesn't end fast matchups when paired with Blademaster Samuro.
Personally, I really like those nerfs freshing up the meta for the last month of this expansion and setting up more possibilities for slower decks in expansions to come.

I really like this card. It's a really strong board clear in slower matchups. But it still gives aggro a chance early on.
The new leveling cards find a nice niche for strong lategame decks that don't suffocate aggro decks imho.

I never played MtG so I don't know much about it.
But I think the problem with the hs meta being solved quickly and meta decks being played on nearly all levels of play is not blizzards fault.
The amount of players in hearthstone that contribute data for meta analysis sites like hsreplay or vicious syndicate is immense. (and I think far higher than in MtG).
And the more data you have the faster you will find the best decks and what cards to cut from them.
Also people playing only those decks is a really hard problem to solve. What kind of incentive would the players have in trying other decks? I am free to play myself and can only craft 1 or 2 decks per exp. Why should I craft meme decks instead of meta decks? And even if I had a full collection I would probably play what's good.
Also I just wanted to say that in the meta right now nearly every class has a viable deck. That is not what I would call bad balancing at all.

Actually a pretty good reason.
Just a little nitpicking tho: Toshley and Tinkertown Technician don't have random in the battlecry.
And for me Spare Parts are similar to Lackeys. (are they? maybe? somewhat? :^)
Probably it's just an inconsistency and doesn't mean anything.

Is there any difference between adding a lackey and adding a RANDOM lackey to your hand?
As far as i understood there are only neutral lackeys, aren't there?
