Because u don't want the late game, maybe take out the omega devastator, and put in some weapon draw or weapon buff.
So, normally I was running Mechanical Yeti, which is an excellent magnetize target.
I am going to playtest Omega Devastator as a replacement for Mechanical Yeti to see if it is viable. I think it remains as strong as Mechanical Yeti as a turn 4 play but it also makes for a very powerful turn 10 play.
I am hesitant about running more weapon buff. We already have 2 x Upgrade!, but I think that adding 1 or 2 Forge of Souls may be a very smart move.
One tool I've been using is playing a mill/fatigue druid in wild vs Shudderwock shaman. It has a 60% favoritism in the matchup, works well enough for me.
This is why I think wild is a complete joke. Come at me, wild elitists. Wild is full of broken cards and broken combos that make the powerlevel completely absurd. Now that it is also home to the most cancerous archetype in the history of HS, jades, I don't visit it anymore.
I don't care what you think of wild. The most OP cards in the wild set come from K&C and WW. Come at me, yourself.
As for Paladin, the only thing that should be nerfed is Call to Arms. Make the mana cost 5. But this should ONLY be done in conjunction with a nerf to cube and lackey, maybe a nerf to dark pact too.
Nagalock is easy to interrupt and counter. You just need the right setup. So that's primarily the reason that nagalock (it's really called Giantlock) isn't a big issue. The real issue are shuddershaman and cubelock.
This is a really great deck, but I don't think it is possible to achieve 81% WR with this any more in the current meta. Things could change, but I'd say the normal WR will be around 65%.
I am optimistic. Control paladin always is one step away from being T1-T2, but unlikely some other classes palaidn control decks have to wait for the meta to shape and adapt to it and are unlikely to be meta-defining decks such as secret paladin in the good old days.
I don't see why paladin should not have atleast a T2+ deck during this last expansion-cycle. Murloc paladin should be still very viable.
It seems like some of the people here "know" which decks are gonna be played and which cards are included in the decklists, when even the pro-players are not sure how the meta will look like.
Nah, I am not certain. It's a guess on my part. But I think I'm on the right side of this guess, however anyone and everyone can be wrong.
I'll be surprised if we have even one standard paladin deck in T1 or T2 by the end of the K&C meta - before the next expansion hits. If we do, I'll be sure to say I was wrong and you were all correct. There's just too many strong T1/T2 contenders, though. If it happens, it'll be an uphill battle in the snow.
The rebuttal here is that there is no reason to compare the class to other classes that are weaker than you. Ultimately, you want to know what you can do to level the playing field against classes that are stronger than you.
And I don't see anything being done on that front.

I think this is the case because warrior's wild cards have not stood the test of time.
IMO warrior's best cards come from the more recent 3 expansions, and any wild warrior deck that wants to beat Tier 1 decks will have to run them.

Would like thoughts & opinions. The goal here is to close the game between turns 6-10, using bombs & mech targets for magnetize.

I love when they play mana tide totem.

Yeah, nerfing doomguard is not the way to go.
Look at nerfing:
- Cube (possible nerfs include raising mana cost or only creating doubles on your OPPONENT's turn)
- Lackey (not sure how to fix this boi)
- Warlock DK (this one depends on the severity of the cube or lackey nerf)
