I admit that priests have an annoying playstyle with all the stealing cards, but overall I find it a pretty weak class, I have probably the best winrate against them. When I play with warlock control, they cant deal with Lord Jaraxxus. When I play with mage control, I just outvalue them, and using a Spellbender before the Ysera turn is usually enough to seal the deal. When I play combo druid, its also a pretty easy matchup. When I occasionally play face shaman, it also feels like a favorable matchup, but I admit that its a kinda small sample size. And even when I play my favourite Dreadsteed deck, which has a clear disadvantage against cards like Cabal Shadow Priest and Shadow Madness, I still manage to outplay them most of the time.
So I dont understand why I see so many of them on the ladder, its like the 2nd most popular class after paladin.

So i understand if people may play against unexperienced priest players and look down at the class. It took me more than 100 games to understand priest's win conditions and how to play it properly. Anyway, the cards that are still good from the deck will probably have a home in more control-style deck, so Flamewaker is probably not going away. Who knows, maybe even Kirin tor Mage will see play, if the meta really slows down enough.
God, I hope not. Can't wait until Flamewaker is out of comission.
I understand that it sometimes aweful to play against Tempo Mage when they got insanely lucky with Unstable Portal or when Flamewaker hits the perfect target but it is really extremely fun to play because each game is different and it think it might be harder to play than a lot of the order aggroish decks! But that is just my opinion.

But yeah, if my golden Mana Wyrm and Sorcerer's Apprentice don't become totally useless crap I'm still happy.They won't. Mage will always have uses for those strong early game minions.It is hard to play, never said otherwise. But Portal is so god damn frustrating sometimes. Flamewaker isn't really an issue, he's strong but his RNG is fair. Portal, however, like Spellbender, has WAY too much variance. I get that some people may find this fun, but I don't. I'm okay with RNG so long as it isn't something insane. -

Blizzard already fixed the joust interaction some time ago, so for now the only card which works with Nozdormu is Curse of Rafaam. You still can counter it by clicking on the card when it's animation appears (at the start of your turn). This causes the animation to be skipped and gives you time to deal with Nozdormu. -

We've all had that moment when we lost to Nozdormu, but if you lost to Nozdormu, that person deserves the win especially since waiting for the specific cards to come into hand to win. Just think about all the times that the person playing the Nozdormu deck loses. If Nozdormu were truly that broken, then why do we not see Nozdormu decks taking over the meta? Maybe because the answer is that Noz just isn't broken. Let the gimmick deck players have a bit of joy. Besides, I'm pretty sure you do not lose to Nozdormu every minute, hour or day. -

Well, thanks to Talaria I found out, 99x99 is the cap, I will definitely test the size tomorrow.
I went to check your deck, and it does move when I select one of your deck, that is even more strange... I guess the cap is higher is this precise case.

I don't always pay attention to the date, so when I read the first line of the Patch Note, a little part of me died:
I cannot be the only one, right? Who else went fishing for information on google before even trying to read the rest of the so-called Patch Notes? Well played hearthpwn, well played.

I don't get how people comment on decks, it is "complete garbage" or "nothing new in this deck", but this is the whole point of this period, there are no new cards and the best decks have already been found, so if you want top tier deck just play zoo, double combo or palasecret and don't bother us.

Even after reading the comments, which mention some possible synergy with Astral Communion, Ancestor's Call or even Alarm-o-Bot, I really don't see how this can be seen in constructed unless the release new cards that interact with him...
People saying it might be good in a slower meta in a heavy control deck do not realise that just like Varian Wrynn it will put you in fatigue too fast!
But I hope I am wrong!

I was at hospital, so I didn't play the last few days, I guess legend is away... I'm rank 5 and I'm struggling finding a deck that fits me, I tried Huntard and I currently play the "Midrange Pally".

After reading almost all the comments, here is my recap:
-It fits in the current freeze mage deck because of the frost Nova synergy, but it might not be strong enough since you can't clear in the same turn
-It could be good in renolock/handbook because of the shadowflame synergy, but this 9 mana combo is expensive
-In Control Warrior, you can play this and brawl during the same turn, even if cw doesn't really need healing right now
-Combo with brann, lightwarden, prophet vielen, holy champion but it's broken with auchenai
-Might be a way to counter zoo/tokens deck, even if it is not enough by itself because when you're behind on board, clearing it is often more important as healing
-It is overall worse than healbot because it is less consistent, but it might be better as refreshments vendor in some case
