Don't be silly. You play Duskfallen Aviana on turn 0 of course.

Apparition16 posted a message on Mike Donais on Hall of Fame - Malygos, Mind BlastPosted in: NewsOh it's gonna be the Year of the Dragon alright. Note: he's mentioning how many new decks Malygos can make. I have a feeling we're gonna get one last year of Maly before he rotates. This is gonna be the big year for dragons for sure, and for his victory lap before retiring to the HoF, Malygos is about to take a years worth of laxatives and straight up shit on the meta.

Dunscot posted a message on Mike Donais on Hall of Fame - Malygos, Mind BlastPosted in: NewsSo, dealing face damage does not match Priest's identity?
Huh, that's weird. I always thought this side of Warcraft, Shadow Priest, was always considered part of the class identity. Like, from the very beginning to this day.
On the one hand, you had cards like Auchenai Soulpriest, Embrace the Shadow and the recently added Auchenai Phantasm that would gain big burst potential with cheap and powerful healing spells like Flash Heal, Light of the Naaru and the just added Regenerate.
And on the other hand, you had the direct damage cards like Shadowform, Spawn of Shadows, Shadowreaper Anduin, Shadowbomber and of course Mind Blast. Not to mention other shadow-themed cards like Shadowfiend, Shadow Word: Death, Excavated Evil... I guess ALL these cards were just happy little accidents, that you actually did not want to make because that's all not part of Priest's class identity.
You know, if you really think that Shadow Priest, a DPS spec, kinda obviously about dealing face damage, should not exist in Hearthstone, fine. You can say that. You can say that you don't want that anymore. Go ahead and nerf more basic cards. But don't be like "it's not part of the class identity" after 5 years of continously printing cards that confirmed it IS a part of Priest's identity.
Argh... I'm getting mad again. I put more effort and thought into pointing out how this line makes no sense than Mike Donais in his statement.
Ok fine, it's not part of Priest's class identity. They were always just about healing and buffs and love and friendship. Go ahead, downvote me for criticising a developer who clearly knows what he's saying.

SharpShot posted a message on Microtech ControllerPosted in: Microtech ControllerYou may have forgotten, Dr. Boom was a well statted 7 mana 7/7. Ontop of that, the minions he summoned could deal enough damage to kill a minion, and he summoned two of them. This is 3 mana for 4/3, Dr. Boom was a 7 mana 9/9 that dealt 1-4 damage TWICE randomly. You cannot compare these two cards together.

samuellima91 posted a message on Microtech ControllerPosted in: Microtech ControllerGrim Necromancer costs 1 extra mana but has +3 health. The fact that this summons mech tokens doesn't matter as much because using your magnetic minions on 1/1 tokens is a pretty weak play. Between these two, Grim Necromancer is the better choice for a token deck.

baleful banker seems better than youthful brewmaster tempo-wise, but this seems fun

probably replace a 5-drop somewhere, you might want an extra weapon or two aswell.

sometimes you need one, but sometimes you need the other. it's nice to have both in your hand when you need it.
