posted a message on Why No One Play Malygos Rogue ?

I've played the deck a decent amount around rank 5. It loses pretty much every time to Druid, except taunt with some favorable draws It can steal wins against almost any deck, but I found it pretty inconsistent against aggro unfortunately. Odd Rogue destroys it pretty handily without good Fal'dori Strider draws.

I'd recommend replacing Fal'Dori or Blinkfox with Sprint and Capt. Greenskin + Doomerang, you need a lot more card draw to make Kingsbane consistent enough. A damn good idea tho!

Like Christmas Day as a kid every 4 months when an expansion drops, I tend to experiment with whatever I'm given in the packs during the first few days before the meta settles.

posted a message on Does Hearthstone Not Work On an Apple Computer????

I've been playing on my Macbook Pro for a few years now, so I know it works. I'm surprised that the download isn't working. I had to install Battle.net first and from there download hearthstone. Maybe try that?

I think if your goal is to build large Questing Adventurers and Mistwraiths you need a few more small cost spells and card drawto accelerate them like Preparation, Shiv and Fan of Knives. Edwin wouldn't hurt either since it's the same idea of playing a lot of cards at once, maybe swap it for Witch's cauldron? Baleful Banker might be a bit to slow and Sherazin is hard to play that many cards outside of a miracle rogue. I'd focus on adding some more early game/removal and then let your card generation help with the late game.

That said, I love random card decks, they're a lot of fun. cool idea

posted a message on Ben's Witchwood Set Review

I appreciate the post! Forums are my place to discuss the game and gain new ideas. I'm hopeful a new deck archetype or two come as a result of this set, but that may take a nerf to Cubelock first. Hopefully Battlecry Shaman and a Rush Midrange/Control Warrior make it. Those two classes need some new things to do.

posted a message on Shudderwock is overrated | Change my mind

Shudderwock is the late-game unlimited value that control Shaman has always lacked. Essentially if you can get to turn 9, you can play endless Shudderwocks with boardclear battlecries (Hagatha, Primordial Drake for up to 7 damage to all minions), it copies itself a few times on board with Saronite and returns more copies to your hand and deck. Best art ever too!

I've found that Murlocadin loses the game if they lose the board, making it difficult to win aggro matches where both players have great hands. If you want to improve your winrate and learn how to avoid misplays, play a deck with some sort of comeback mechanic. I would highly recommend a control deck, or if you're lower on cards for control like me tempo decks work well too.

Tempo Rogue is a great example, it can win in so many different ways. Sure, Keleseth on turn 2 is insane, the difficulty comes in winning without Keleseth. Your goal with Tempo Rogue is typically to have a big tempo lead by turn 5/6,  so you can bonemare on 7 or Leeroy shadowstep on 8. Your hand largely determines your turns, but picking the right time to push hard for tempo is key. Each matchup has different powerful turns: ShadowReaper on 8, Dragonfire on 6, Spreading Plague at any time, Hellfire, Defile, etc. Against aggro and the mirror, you often need to hold resources to swing the board in one turn. Although against Murlocadin I just try to clear all murlocs asap, because if they never stick anything I win. Understanding the goal of your deck and what your best turn at each mana cost will be will improve your winrate dramatically and help you avoid/recognize misplays.

posted a message on Did Dragonslayer just made the dragon archetyp unplayable?

Scalebane is currently in pretty much every deck. Does this card change that? At worst, you can typically tell what deck you're playing against and play it as a 3 mana 4/3. Good control tech.
