To everyone thinking that Galakrond is the problem, I would beg to differ on that part. For me, it's the eerily consistent way in which they can Invoke, and thus upgrade him. And it's Shudderwock. All of the other classes struggle really hard to upgrade Galakrond, and we're not even discussing the Quest now, which allows Shaman to fully upgrade him when playing Elementalist.
However, the deck has some solid counters on ladder now, as it's very weak when it loses board control. Decks like Control Warrior, Quest Hunter and even Dragon Handlock have had some good success. But if Shaman draws the nuts (Invocation of Frost into Devoted Maniac into Corrupt Elementalist into Dragon Pack into Galakrond), you're done. That goes for many other decks however, Deathrattle Rogue being a real culprit in that sense.
So, keeping in mind that the deck has already dwindled down in winrate, I would like to see these changes, not limited to Shaman. Most notably, I'm not only looking for changes in stats:
Corrupt Elementalist: 4-mana, 3/3, Invoke Galakrond. (The double Invoke is just mental, and Shaman should not have this ability, out of all classes, particularly due to the Quest.
Shudderwock will read "Battlecry: Repeat all your minions' Battlecries you've played this game."
Heart of Vir'naal: Your first Battlecry this turn will trigger twice.
Faceless Corruptor: 7-mana, 5/4. (As clarification, I don't think they'll make it 6-mana purely because of Even Shaman in Wild.)
Necrium Apothecary: 5-mana, 2/6. (If they don't tackle this now, it's going to run rampant when Shaman drops).
No. Control Warriors are pretty uncommon on ladder, and Druid is unplayable now. And the Control Warriors that are playing right now, don't care for armor that much. The card will be pretty dead in 98 out of 100 games.
Jesus Christ, you are so ungreteful!!! >:( They gave you FIVE legendaries for free this time and even so you are still complaining about silly bad luck. Calm down, dude...
Honestly, as rude as you might be from time to time, I usually feel the same sentiment as you. In this case however, I do not. You're missing the obvious fact that Blizzard also included 5 MORE Legendaries this expansion. Yes, they gave them for free, but that didn't change the amount of Legendaries this expansion has left to collect.
It also doesn't change the fact that OP might have witnessed the worst RNG possible in pack openings. He's not being ungrateful, he's angry, and he has every right to be displeased. Blizzard will not care, but he has a right to voice his opinion on something that is surely abysmal, by any standards.
So, instead of replying on how ungrateful he is, leave it alone. I remember a certain post of yours wondering why you received warnings from mods, and how we should share tips on how to better our behavior and experience on this forum. And this, my dear Sherman, is exactly something you can easily avoid.
I played Kronx Dragonhoof before I played Galakrond...
While I had Galakrond in hand.
So he was just a stat stick 6/6. I shame conceded.
I have been on the verge of doing this soooo many times. Luckily, and sadly, I still have to read every new card, so that always pulls me back. As for my own failures, yesterday I killed off my opponent's Albatross before playing Dragonqueen Alex. Obviously, a clear error in order, and I was left with no other option than to shame-concede.
I love these threads, by the way. Very good example of how fun this community can be.
Also, really read on a battlcry card and it states "...when you play a card from your hand"... Nothing more to it
I think you answered your own question with this statement. Murozond plays the cards, but not from your hand. Therefor, Krush does not get summoned for you.
I have been testing her in Quest Druid, because that deck already has such amazing draw. However, I'm torn if she should exist alongside Chef Nomi, as the win-con, or if she should replace Nomi alltogether. But yes, she's been amazing so far. Any tips from anyone on this?
FYI, I didn't like any of the other cards Druid got, so I haven't been able to create any other really different deck with that class.
What? There are 8 Dragons in the deck in total, which is around 30% of the entire deck. That's 16 Mana Crystals you cheat, at max, and that's nutty. Almost all of these dragons are solid in their vanilla state, let alone for 2 mana less.
Does it apply just to the invoke keyword (Like you don't get heropower effect) or does it also apply to the "if you invoked twice do something" cards. Like an example: If you play Corrupt Elementalist from your hand without Galakrond, the Tempest just to make your Dragon's Pack buffed (without Galakrond's Fury's effect of course) would this work? Or does the battlecry just don't work at all?
I think that Blizzard wording is way to vague in that case, and it can go either way tbh.
Is this referring to a scenario where Galakrond no longer is present in either your Hero, deck or hand? As in, it was burned, stolen or something else? Because if not, I don't quite understand the need to run Invoke-cards without running Galakrond himself. If he was burned, and no longer can be Invoked, my guess is that the game checks for Galakrond, before Invoking. So no, in that case.
EDIT: Nothing to see here, but a stupid question. Move on!
Just a rather simple question, but the internet does not seem to have the answer:
Do you receive all 5 Galakronds if you open your DoD packs tonight during a pre-release Gathering? If not, can you open up a Golden Galakrond because the game does not recognize you have Galakrond already? I care very little for golden versions, and I would just disenchant them, but I'd rather have a higher chance of unpacking Legendaries besides Galakrond.
I feel like ThotHunter might actually be the card designer that made Big Ol' Whelp. There's really no other reason for him to fight for the chonker this much.
No, that's false. Truly infinite is like what we saw with Infinite Banker Druid in the last meta, where you would generate infinite cards by copying Banker with Elise, and then Bankering Elise again. You could also do this with Kun. The stipulation that your minion needs to survive a turn on board negates, by default, the term infinite.

It's Blizzard's undercover-method to stop ladder from being infested with this toxic combo.

Here we go again, not even 24 hours after the expansion dropped...

How are you still playing Hearthstone?

Thanks, I thought you'd be able to get Golden Galakronds in packs. Legit a stupid question. Moving on.
