Kaladin posted a message on New Druid Spell - Biology ProjectPosted in: Card DiscussionIf this works like Nourish (and it should, since it's worded the same), then you can be at 9 mana on turn 3, to Coin UI or Oakheart on T3. Grove Tender wasn't even close to that good.
T1 - Double Biology Project, Wild Growth (end with 5 mana, 6 next turn)
T2 - Nourish to 8 mana
T3 - With 9 mana, Coin UI or play Oakheart and gg
edit: granted, you need perfect draw for this to happen but rest assured this WILL happen. You WILL see T3 Oakheart.

Gorshan posted a message on New Shaman Legendary Minion - Electra StormsurgePosted in: Card DiscussionEach class is probably getting a legendary spell, so that's something to keep in mind for this. I can see this getting played in Shudderwock for sure. 24 health healing rain, double farsight, double volcano so it has a chance against even lock. It's also CRAZY with Bloodlust.
Mage discovering this through servent of Kalimos sounds bananas.

jainaishot posted a message on A simple solution to suppress douchebaggery.Posted in: General DiscussionHi there beautiful people, there have been a lot of threads about toxic behaviors and lets be honest here, no matter how strong willed and Zen we are, bad behavior effects all of us negatively. Whether that is a simple '' meh what a douche" or a full baby rage tantrum depends on individual's personality but in the end, it makes our day a bit worse.
So how do we deal with this? Well as a person i believe in Machiavellian way when something must be done. Which for those who have not read the Prince is this : If you want to stop someone from doing something, either give him a strong incentive to change his ways, or utterly crush him so he is totally unable to repeat his actions. The second is this case is out of the question because this is a simple game after all. So lets talk about the first.
What i propose is modified version of what gwent does. Give the ability to the players to send a "gg" after the game. When doing so, the receiving player gets 5 gold regardless of who won. If both however receive "gg" then they both get 10 gold instead of 5. This gold counts towards the daily gold limit. This way not only douchebags will lose a ton of gold, but there will be a much more healthy casual mode as the players can experiment and work towards accumulating gold.
I am fully aware that this won't stop toxicity entirely but it will sure improve the situation. Gwent is a living example of this. There are many douchebags there as well but overall it stops a good portion of toxicity. And do not forget in a less generous game like hs, the reward will be more impactful.
What do you guys think?

Gunnolf posted a message on The amount of toxic players suggests a report function should be put inPosted in: General DiscussionThere is a fundamental difference between bad sportsmanship and being abusive in chat. The latter is and should be reportable while the first one should not be. People are dicks and it's a fact of life so best not waste your time trying to fix what cannot be fixed. Move on and let them enjoy their moment in the sun before returning to their misery.

LadyPhoenix74 posted a message on Cutting the Gold Earned from Casual in Half - A DiscussionPosted in: General DiscussionQuote from jainaishot >>I really like this idea, but i think it won't change much because the netdeckers in casual are there not to earn gold but to be genuinely scums.
Everytime i play casual and i see a net decker, it will always be a smorc deck or a pseudo smorc deck (aka tempo-midface or some other answer instandly or lose shit). And all of them and i mean ALL of them will be utter douchebags. Just now i played against 3 combo (totally not swarm and smorc) druids in a row while i was playing quest hunter for the lols and the 1 drop quest. And you can guess what all of them did. Rope before leathals, spamming and the one douchebag out of three who i beat tried to add me twice. This was just today. And i have much much worst stories to tell in 5 years in this game from casual.
Long story short, whatever the netdeckers in casual try to say to justify their shitty ways, they are not there to farm. They are there because they are shitty persons who get r*ped in ranked and try to vent off their frustration in casual by being fun police. Even if they would lose gold by bringing netdecks in casual, they would still do it.
*Sigh* Let me guess - you're one of those hardcore control players, or you play sub-par decks for fun. Your entire post simply tells me that you want to win as much and as fast as the optimized decks I use...only using your home-brews.
Aggro, Mid-range, and tempo are valid archetypes. Yeah, control can be fun, but sometimes I don't want to be in a match for 45 minutes. Running Dragon Priest and my opponent drops a Chillwind Yeti...
It tears me up inside because I can see that this is a new player, but, fact of the matter is, if you drop into a Halo party, never having played FPS in your life, you're going to lose. A lot. ALL new players of ALL games get farmed.
This is why "farming noobs" is a thing. It happens in Hearthstone. You can either suck it up, manage your resources well and eventually get there, OR you can quit. I worked hard for the decks I have. I worked hard to get my account where it is today - and plenty of other players have as well.
It isn't fair to deny us gold because YOU fail to keep up...I hate to sound so mean but these dictating what is fun for all is wrong. And stereotyping other players for their idea of fun is wrong as well.
This thread is insane and here is why;
We have all these social media accounts. Want to see the new super hero movie, but don't know the backstory?
Wikipedia.
You sound like those hardcore fan boys that try to tell you're not a real fan because you didn't own the original comics. My play time is limited. My resources are limited, and furthermore, the very forum you are using is a popular source for net-decking!!
If I make a deck list and post it here, I promise you, there will be at least 30 other decks like it because we have what, under 200 cards per xpac with a playerbase in the millions?
Furthermore, the fact that these threads even exist will make trollish individuals want to do it more because they know it gets under your skin.

YourPrivateNightmare posted a message on Class Identity, Bad Design?Posted in: General Discussionclass identity has shifted. Druid has always had Armor as part of its arsenal, as well as healing. It just so happens that there's an overabundance of armor gain for Druid.
However, it's still not even close to the ridiculous amounts of armor Warrior could gain back during TGT times (Justicar was one hell of a drug)
Meanwhile Druid still doesn't have any effecient Boardclears (even in Wild Poison Seeds is basically the only way to deal with big boards) and their single target removal is lackluster at best.
Also, Druid currently doesn't have the amount of synergy cards that Warrior has. Shield Slam, Reckless Flurry, Geosculptor Yip are all cards Druid wishes he could play.

DoubleSummon posted a message on Cutting the Gold Earned from Casual in Half - A DiscussionPosted in: General DiscussionWant to play casual? add people, "challenge a friend" play your goofy jimmy decks. what do you even what to play so badly, huh?
The rewards suck anyway, do you work for blizzard or something? they are the ones that's gonna earn more for hurting F2Pers.
If people farm there so be it, you can play your jimmy decks against competitive decks to see how it fares.
Seriously that suggestion is one of the worst I ever heard.

aceplayer posted a message on The state of players wanting to face helpless opponents (Polarizing match-ups)Posted in: Wild FormatSincerely 2 things.
1.Wild is the place for these decks.
Don't get me wrong but when decks overspecialize into something they start to generate this style of reaction in the game and this is why rotation exist in first place. Because such decks existing in standard would create a necessity for powercreep just to maintain the game more interactive.
2.If someone not wanna to get punished by a deck they should stop to play one tricky poney decks.
If you put your brain to work it is not even dificult to create decks that are flexible and not suck. But people prefer dive into the most powerfull synergy they can and try to not give a single chance to their opponents.
Hibrid decks are a thing and a powerfull one in these situations but people not use they enough because they are not flashy.

with midrange alone more than 22%. Source:
http://www.vicioussyndicate.com/vs-data-reaper-report-24/
The surprise of the week is the incoming of Face hunter and that in the 53k games sample priest is more played than Paladin.
Shaman has also a win ratio of 54.83% ( 56.2% not counting mirror match) That are alarming numbers. Too close to red lines that blizzard has said it has before intervene...

confirmed in standard. This "bug" maybe has something about the coming Heroic brawl. if people get lower ranks than usually may perceive that are better than they usually are and be more prone to take risks.

In the late 6.2 pacth murlocs get buffed. As this is a strange move for Blizzard maybe they are preparing to make a hughe adition of murlocs in the next expansion.
its the last expansion of the ytear of the kraken. WOG gave us the tentacles so rest the maritime theme. We have two tribes that fit in taht theme. The murlocs are great candidates. Blizzard have made adjustements to them along the year ( old eye, 6.2 buffs) and is obvious that someone in Team 5 loves them. ( we have a murloc hero before a tauren for example)
the pirates is aony a wish but would be great to have a litle arrrg finally...
what yours thoughts?
And sotrry for the english, not native :)
