Looks like they're attempting to make Taunt Druid a thing with Hadronox. Could be possible with Sen'jin Shield Masters, Spreading Plague, Ancient of War, Mogu'Shan Wardens. Might not be competitive, but it could be fun. Maybe Hadronox Taunt Druid becomes a tier 3 deck? It's at least worth a try for druid players.

You can replace, Fandral with Spellbreaker, Keeper of the Grove, or Mind control Tech. He's not too important, but he does get out of control if your opponent doesn't deal with him quickly.

posted a message on Was inspire a bad mechanic?

Inspire was a really innovative, genuine mechanic, for the idea that long drawn out control games would be taking place. The problem is, and always will be, is that Blizzards 1 and 2 drops are insanely overpowered, which make most of these late game cards "that are great concepts, and look good in theory", just dead cards that have minimal chance of making an impact. The risk of running most of the inspire cards, just doesn't outweigh or even balance the reward.

Things will always be this way until Blizzard decides to give every class, a cheap legit way to kill off early aggro. I feel like TGT was Blizzards way of listening to the players who wanted to see a more control oriented game, but it was poorly executed. The inspire cards are fun, cool, the idea was genius, and had tons of potential. This is why a dislike cancer aggro decks.

posted a message on Malorne Good For Beast Druid?

I use Malorne in my Beast deck in Wild, he helped get me to rank 10 this month.  I use him in combination with Menageri Warden and N'Zoth, it's a very strong combo. I might be a better rank, but I fluctuate between Standard and Wild throughout each month. The fun factor is the best part about the combo, and my opponents usually either try to add me afterwards or at least give me a wow emote for using the combo. I've even considered running Kel'Thuzad in the deck, for extra laughs and more fun.

posted a message on Ben Brode video on Purify

Okay, so I have watched this video about 4 times now, and while I can appreciate the rebuttal given by Ben Brode, one thing in the video really sticks out to me, which no one else seems to have pointed out yet, beside myself and a friend of mine. Doesn't anyone else realize the most odd, and important thing about the video, like the part where he mentions, that it's Blizzards dream to make every deck have a 50% win rate???

Really, is Blizzards goal to make all deck have a 50% win ratio? That's not my dream, and I certainly hope it's not any other "competitive" players dream. First off, if that truly is their dream, then how can Hearthstone even be taken seriously anymore, and why are they continuously pushing for Hearthstone to be a popular Esport? I can understand, and accept Bens opinion on a 50% win rate, if Hearthstone wasn't being pushed to be an Esport, however this is clearly not the case stated by lead developer Mr. Ben Brode himself.

Second, how can anyone of us even take the ladder serious anymore? To me, this response is potentially the biggest troll in video game history.

So what they are saying, is that all this time us players who work tirelessly at reaching rank 5 and beyond, that this whole time Blizzard is actually trying to do the opposite? To what extent? To appease the player base as a whole? You would think that they would at least, want most decks to have a 55 to 65% win rate, not a 50% win rate! I'm sorry, but I can no longer even take Hearthstone or pro or upcoming pro players seriously anymore. I feel like the jokes being played on us. I understand luck is a factor, and it should be, and most important it will be, because of the nature of card games. However 50% means, just that, which is 50%, which means Hearthstone is nothing but luck, and has no skill involved, or at least that's the dream for Blizzard, even if that's not currently true, because potentially it could become true.

This actually explains a lot to me, and after watching this video more than just a few times, I've come to my own conclusion, which is that I will no longer consider this a true competitive game or Esport, and I will no longer grind for hours upon ends, to reach the top "which I have done consistently since Hearthstones release". I will now only play for fun, and for a casual experience.

I have a strong feeling that, when Ben said the words, that he accidently spewed it from his mouth. In other words, that sentence was probably not ever meant for any of us to know, but because of the outcry over Purify, and all the confusion, it was blurted out on accident.

How do you feel about this?
