According to the poll, 1 in 3 people are not dusting their cards ... what? Why wouldn't you? You could just craft them back without any loss in dust at any time you wish. Just recraft them as soon as you want to try a deck with them or they turn out to be still playable. No one can say for certain what the meta will be like after the nerfs. It's safer to dust them in case they become shit. Why gamble? And what if you open them in packs after the refund period ends?
As for me, I play a lot of druid but I don't like spreading plague in any of them. I still think it's a bad card despite what blizzard says and won't be recrafting them. Murloc warleader is still pretty good but I only play paladin when it shows up in daily quests so I probably won't be recrafting them either. By the time murlocs show up in some other deck, I might have opened new warleaders in packs anyway
I've done every one except Uther, does anyone have any advice? I'm afraid the nerf will make it much harder.
Murloc aggro seems to be the consensus, but I can't get past all my minions going to his side. Anything special that "needs" to happen during the match (a specific rng roll or something)? Just get lucky with killer opener into Megasaur/Warleader? Anyone experiment with Enhanc-o-Mechano?
If you have some advice and/or want to spectate me while I try it out, add me, battle tag under avatar.
Btw, I've done all of them with my own decks, so if there is some magic deck or a good video to watch, that would be helpful too. :)
I haven't tried the "me go face" method in any class but I beat him with my own control/anyfin paladin. Doomsayers and explosive sheep are OP when they go off twice, once on your board and once on his side. His hero power also means Murk Eyes and warleaders get duplicated at least once for the OTK
My initial plan for this encounter was actually to give him Fel Reavers, humility them and mill his deck. But I didn't have any Fel Reavers so I found a friend who hasn't done paladin yet. He managed to do it in 2 tries but I think he might have got lucky
If brute force isn't working for you, know there are alternatives :)
There aren't that many relevant cards from OG anymore. The only ones I can think of are lightlord (which you shouldn't consider before Tirion and Tarim), Y'Shaarj (which is only in decks with bunch of expansive legendaries) and N'zoth, of course
Edwin is a must have in miracle rogue and a good card in other rogues. Tirion is one of the best classic legendaries but it looks like you don't have the other paladin stuff. Tony is almost in all the mages. Carine/Baine shouldn't be considered without N'zoth
Raza is a must have in highlander priest. Playing highlander without him is like playing renolock without reno or murloc paladin without warleaders and megasaur. He's the most important card in the deck along with the priest DK. Highlander priest has been historically very, very bad. With the introduction of "the combo" it became the best performing deck in the HCT (with druid banned). Without the combo, it returns to being that very bad deck. Raza + DK are literally carrying the deck. The only consideration here is whether or not you really want to be crafting a legendary that's not only a class card, but one that works only in one archtype
Warlock DK is largely untested. He's pretty bad in standard but supposedly great in wild due to more powerful demons and healing options. The problem with wild only decks is that there's no pros to help build a baseline for the archtype. No one has any idea what the best version of the deck is and therefore we have no good stats on it. It's also worth noting that a card like this has the potential to be very powerful in the future for the same reason it should be good in wild
Big priest it's not even a thing, is a meme deck. You can't say a deck is op if it HAVE TO draw very good. Barnes on mulligan gand works 40% of the times(maximum) and there are cases when you have barnes in first hand then the next 3 draws are ysharj, ysera,lk. Then the match is lost even with your turn 3 barnes, bcs if you get unlucky you draw all your minions till turn 3-4. This deck it's not a problem at all, they don't have good matchups, they have just lucky matchups and bad matchups.
It's the 8th highest winrate and 9th most popular deck in the meta according to vicious syndicate. People are bringing it to multiple HCT events. The world championship tours is no place to meme. At the same time, a deck does not need to have a high winrate nor be powerful to be unhealthy for the game. Imagine the scenario where a person loses to this deck. Did the big priest player win because he made good decisions and played well? Nope. Did the other player lose because he missplayed and therefore didn't deserve the win? Nope. The same is true for the inverse. If all HS games were as simple as meaningless coinflips like this, would anyone play this over rock, paper, scissors? Nope
The problem with N'zoth is that the deathrattles in standard so far are really weak and there's only one more expansion before Whispers of the Old Gods rotate out. Since you play wild you can play with all the great deathrattle cards rotated out and in future expansions. However, I wouldn't recommend putting N'zoth in Highlander priest. The burst variants are far superior to the value or N'zoth variants, especially in wild. As a side note, awaken the makers is actually a terrible card and by no means do you "need" it for any priest, even deathrattle heavy lists
Meanwhile, the Lich King, while not an auto include in any deck, is a solid "vanilla big card" to fill a slot in any slower deck. Many of his token pulls can be garbage depending on the deck you're playing but he's a must kill target and the body is great for holding the door vs aggro
Are there any other legendaries you have on your mind?
Control Paladin, Control Warrior, Control Warlock, Mill Rogue, not that they are that much harder to play tho. HS is a baby game when it comes to "skill ceiling". Like between the average player and the world champion is almost no difference and the former can beat the latter somewhat often. Try that in Lol, CS, Dota 2, Starcraft or any other truly competitive game.
And don't let people deceive you, Freeze / Quest mage is NOT skill-intensive.
Heh, I've played all of those first three enough to say that freeze mage is way more skill intensive than any of them.
Which is also supported by data, freeze mage has consistently been the deck with the highest difference in winrate between the outliers.
You're just another whiner who in lack of good argument throws in what you're hoping is taken to be an insult.
Wait, is there actually someone gathering statistics like that? I would be very, very interested in taking a look at said data
What does my choice of decks have to do with the matter? If anything, your stereotypical "jade druid cancer player" would be happy with the state of the game right now and try to shut down salty posts because they'll lead to druid nerfs
I'm pretty sure Greenpig is talking about OP, not you. :P
I got a notification "Greenpig replied to your comment on Re: Why all the salt?????", don't worry :P
Appeal to the heart of the cards. Bury your opponent's Barnes in the bottom of their deck. When they cast Shadow Essence, summon Barnes with your willpower. If you failed to bury Barnes in step 2 as a missplay, you can redeem yourself by topdecking a potion of madness

Why write about it in fan website, trying to bring others down or trying to find comfort that you are not the only one?
To an extent, these people are trying to give feedback and let the devs know of their displeasure of certain cards or mechanics so that hopefully they will be changed
I have never seen a game were the game developers are so interactive with the players. Actually, this game is the first time I have seen a player based called a community! I think it is awesome.
Completely untrue. I actually think the devs interact with their playerbase the least out of all the major digital card games. It's gotten much better this past month but I think it's largely because it was suicidal PR-wise to ignore the massive jade druid outcry
In other words, all events are either happening in the US or not in the US?
There's only been 3 or 4 of these seasonal championships. Before that, there were no attendable events. I'm sure blizzard will have one in EU eventually

Probably after the HCT tournaments so that people who already practiced and prepared lineups for it don't get screwed over

Whether they should or not is irrelevant
The fact of the matter is that they won't. Blizzard has never refunded cards that are indirectly nerfed in the past

OP asks "What Are The Most Difficult Competitive Decks?"
Community answers "Whatever decks I play. Everyone else is no stoopid even though I never tried playing those"
