I love comboing and otking but I agree, this is a bit problematic.
Also, I like fast games so this meta is "fine" with me, better than being grinded down by slow control decks with 20min per game.
If the meta establishes and they tone down a bit mage, we can have a varied meta, in fact, this few days I'm seeing a LOT of different decks, much better than the Secretdin > Spell Mage > Libramdin > Repeat we had a few months ago
I hate RNG, so after a few games with the other player highrolling every single RNG I just put it down and do something else.
I don't understand why Blizzard keeps promoting the RNG side instead of the Skill, it's super sad watching GM Games and see how a highroll decides a game instead of a set of good plays.
IMO Tick is not balanced due to Hearthstone's own nature.
In games like MtG you have two tools to face a "Mill" situation, graveyard recursion and tutoring, here we have neither.
Here in Hearthstone "mill" is final, so if Tick hits a key card of your deck (even more if you play combo) you are in a situation you can't turn around with skill or good plays, you just lost to Tick's rng
IMO, burning cards to the enemy is a mechanic that should dissapear and never come back.
Meta still sucks, Secret / Libram paladin, No-Minion-Lunacy and C.Warlock are still just too boring to play against, I'm starting to concede the moment I see someone playing that, it just ruins my experience.

Problem is luck is too important in this game.
In other card games, luck affects only draws, but here almost every card has a random component that can win or lose you the game.
I wish they removed the RNG element TBH, just for a year, and see how players react.

Unlike Hunter, Mage and Paladin, Miracle asks from you more than vomiting your hand on tempo.

Just played a Priest playing twice scorpion into draconic studies into skeletal dragon
I won just because I was playing warlock, but that's just obscene.
This game rng is beyond absurd

When your opponent cast a spell, give your minions charge.

Just played against a russian priest, me using secret rogue
Both played a lot of fun cards, many secrets, veilweaver, illucia, ysera, jandice and kazakus with shadowsteps...
I won simply because his histerya triggered a bamboozle into Tirion, giving me enough dmg to kill him by drawing my last card, Manrik's Wife.
I wish all my games were this much fun, don't care if i win or lose.

Feels good when they actually design a well balanced card.

Yup, you get your free rank and I don't have to see the same no-brain plays game after game, win-win in my book :)

Ah...the feeling you get when you are about to kill a Paladin and they use their high-skill play, 6 mana/heal 8/divine shield taunt 8/8
I can't understand why that s****** exists, won't miss librams once they rotate, they can go to hell with Rez Priest.
