Jesus Christ dude, before calling someone a cheater, use your brain please. You just had connection problems, that is all.

For everyone making comments like this, I was on a perfect wired connection. Don't jump to conclusions like you know it all. This is a known exploit using a specific combo of cards to DC your opponent.
    C.H.E.A.T.E.R. end of story.

Ok, so there I am playing control priest at rank 18. And im up against this mage. He has the exodia pieces in his deck, but he has no quest.

Hmm....odd. Maybe he's just new or something.

He plays a Leyline Manipulator. No big deal, alright. 5 or 6 turns later, he Simulacrums and plays another Leyline Manipulator then hits me with a Sorcerer's ApprenticeZola the Gorgon. Then the game stands still for me. He still emotes to me, it looks like he is playing cards, but I am stuck with the rope burning and a floating card. The game is indefinitely stuck this way until I force close my game and this cheater gets away with a win.

Seriously blizz? I feel like this exploit has been in the game and this is my first time experiencing it. It hurts even more when you can't even report the cheater (because he glitched your game and you cant get his battletag via the friend's list.)

    That is actual bullshit.

posted a message on PSA: Bloodreaver Gul'Dan

When you play Bloodreaver Gul'dan, the demons that are summoned are your first ones to die.

For example. If 1 voidlord and 6 voidwalkers died, then later on in the game some doomguards or maybe a despicable dreadlord died, you would summon 1 voidlord and 6 voidwalkers with your Bloodreaver Gul'dan (assuming there are 7 open spaces on the board). So your first 7 demons to die would be the demons summoned.

Just felt like bringing this up since some people seem to think its based on RNG.

So far the expansion has shown itself to NOT be TGT based.  The decks so far seem powerful.  The question is what happens after refinement.

It's going to be something different, but ..well.. we'll see.

If what you are suggesting is true then the question is whether other decks are as crazy and whether decks can 'outcrazy' each other.  That is, will matches act like Dragon ball Z's "I use my ultramega attack. YOU CAN'T STOP ME!"  "HYPERBEEM!  Now face 100000 suns!"  "What NO!  SPeed cannon!!"  "omEGESLAsH!" "SUPEROMEGASLASH!"

...that is, can I counter your OP thing with my OP thing while you counter my OP thing and we're both spinning like crazy trying to get our OP thing to finish each other.  If so that's cool.

If not then it'll be just a race to see who can get their OP thing to go off first then just win.  Which is boring.

No way to tell now since the REALL broken stuff doesn't show up for the next month (remember, during Old Gods we thought C'thun was OP and Yogg was trash).

That's exactly what I was thinking. Crazy decks out-crazy'ing each other, that's what it feels like during some of my games :D. That would be awesome, but there would be absolutely no room for decks that do not have a lot of synergy.

I agree with you. I know my ceiling is above 15, it was a breeze to get there.

But, newer players simply don't have the dust to make good decks and don't even have the slightest chance against meta decks :(. It would be nice if everyone could experience the wacky plays that hearthstone has to offer.

posted a message on Hearthstone has gotten SUPER CRAZY.

I netdecked a cubelock list today and ranked from 25 to 15 with 1 loss. Back in the day, the highest rank i ever achieved was with handlock and i was a sea giant i believe (dont remember what rank that is exactly).

Thinking back to how handlock games used to go and how cubelock games go now, I realized how insane and wacky hearthstone has gotten.

Go back a couple years and picture yourself as a handlock. Turn 1, tap. Turn 2, tap. Turn 3, tap. Turn 4, Mountain Giant. Amazing right? An 8/8 on turn 4, super good! The win condition is just beat them to death with giants. Your opponent could remove your giants, or kill you before you summoned them. There were win conditions that could be played against.

    Pretty simple.

Lets fast-forward to today. You're a happy cubelock. You got your Spiritsinger Umbra and your Carnivorous Cube and you're ready for some combo wombos. Turn 1, Kobold Librarian. Turn 2, Tap. Turn 3, Kobold Librarian + tap. Turn 4, Greater Amethyst Spellstone to kill whatever shit they're trying to develop and gain 7 life.

At this point, you pretty much win. If you are not dead, then that means you will inevitably get 6 Doomguard to slap him dead or many Voidlord and Voidwalker and win the game that way, all because of Carnivorous Cube combo. Did they remove your entire board? It's okay guys, there's Bloodreaver Gul'dan to save the day and summon a board full of Doomguards, Voidlords, and Voidwalkers!

The amount of value that decks have these days are incredible. You can have 5 copies of the same 9-cost minion being summoned in the same game. Or perhaps 5+ 5/7 charge minions at your disposal with no downside at all!

The game has changed so much. How do you guys feel about the power level in today's game compared to the game previously?

Cannibalize your entire collection, including golden, and dust literally everything that you are not currently using.

This is the only way to make competitive decks with all the cards in them.
