I have been playing Kibler's Dragon Highlander Quest Shaman (that's a mouthful) and it has been performing pretty well.

Far better than my own take of the same deck since my build tend to fold to basically every Demon Hunter I face.

 Well, it helps that the Bombs doesn't eat up your draw too. I rather take 10 damage from 2 Bombs and still draw my card for the turn than seeing my next draw be an Albatross that I am now stuck with.

I do believe Albatross does need a stat reduction if the effect remains the same. It does bother me how easily it can disrupt Spell Mage and No Neutral Paladin because of this and both decks isn't really that amazing . For Highlander, I am OK with Albatross but it can get very annoying when Priest resurrect it 2-3 times in a row and I can't draw any of my answers for that card.

Even if Albatross doesn't get a stat change, I do like the idea someone else mentioned here that the Albatross being drawn should be changed to "Cast when Drawn" like the Bombs are so you don't lose your draw but the Albatross does what it was intended to do.

Frankly, I like the 2nd option more. It does what it was made to do but it also doesn't wreck the other player with pointless draws while hurting their deck options at the same time....and, frankly, 3 mana 4/3 with an effect like that is way too good.

I rather go back to focusing on my opponent than trying to figure out how many more of those annoying Birds is still in my deck and affecting my Font of Power and Apexis Blast. I definitely is not touching Pure Paladin due to Albatross.

 Well, for me, my main class I play is Mage and one of my most favorite decks I ever enjoyed in Yogg Spell Mage.

One day, I do want to make a fully Golden version of the deck and I am sure my deck's final form will definitely have Evocation in it so I might as well get that out of the way as soon as possible. I tend to get any card that I use a lot in my Mage decks that create more cards into a Golden form as much as I possibly can.

For example, Netherwind Portal, Apexis Blast, and Font of Power in this set.

Just opened my 145 packs

Got a total of 7 Legendaries:

Ysiel Windsinger, Evocation, Shadowjeweler Hanar, Lady Vashj, The Lurker Below *Golden*, Bulwark of Azzinoth, and Maiev Shadowsong

A total of 34 Epics, 1 is Golden (Marsh Hydra)

All Rares with extras, 10 of them Golden

All Commons with extras, 16 of them Golden

Overall, very happy with the pulls. My only gripe is that I have to craft an Golden Evocation since I already pulled it. No chance of getting it from my pre-order bonus in a few days from now.

I have considered that when I was thinking of No Minion Mage but I do know I will be playing my 2 allowed copies of Polymorph in my build once this expansion releases which will help deal with that Albatross.

I doubt the deck got enough to make it work in Standard but, if not, I am sure there is enough for me to play around with in Wild.

Since the game was released, possibly $500 at the max. I got the last 5 expansion pre-orders except for Gadgetzan. I did pick up at least 2, if not 3 total, 50-pack bundles from the shop using Amazon coins.

Honestly, considering how little I play after the first week of the expansion being live (this one included), the amount I do spend is still too much, even though I do like this game.

Long story short: I got way too many games to play and not enough time to play them.

With all of the free packs from log-in and playing Dungeon Runs, my pre-order, and the ones I got from the Tavern Brawls, I opened a total of 66.

5 Legendary Cards: Twig of the World Tree (free log-in weapon), Rhok'delar, Dragoncaller Alanna, The Darkness, and King Togwaggle.

14 Epic Cards: 1x Astral Tiger, 1x Crushing Walls, 2x Deck of Wonders, 1x Twilight Acolyte, 1x Psychic Scream, 3x Evasion, 1x Cataclysm, 1x Bladed Gauntlet, 1x Bladed Gauntlet, 1x Rummaging Kobold, 1x Corridor Creeper

Also got 3 Golden Rares and 4 Golden Commons. Only missing 3 single commons to have the full common set.

Overall, outside of that 3rd Evasion, I am quite happy with this opening. To make things even more interesting, the 2 golden epics I got came from the 6th pack, one pack after I pulled my 1st legendary (which was King Togwaggle).

What I find really sad is that there is at least one of these threads every time a new expansion gets released.....

Around 65 packs for me. (50 from Pre-Order + 8 from Gold + 3 from Tavern Brawls + 3 free log-in Packs)

I barely played between Frozen Throne and Kobolds so I naturally didn't build up any gold.

Well, I do know I will be crafting Shifting Scroll, Raven Familiar, and Deck of Wonders for my Wild Casino Mage deck provided I don't get it out of my packs.

And due to just how many good cards are in this set, I am about to lock up my pre-order for this set.

Curse you, Blizzard! Why do you always make me want to spend money on this game?!!!!

If it wasn't for the Legendaries being good overall and a rather high number, I would be irritated by disenchanting epics and golden commons out of 71 packs on the first day of release.

Also got Rexxar DK from the prologue. Still deciding if I want to craft Jaina DK as a Golden or just a regular.

I will definitely enjoy this brawl while it lasts.

After redoing Mal'Ganis summoning line in my head, I can literally see Mal'ganis calling himself a turtle to some people. I never thought of that before because it sounds so similar.

Same thing with SI:7 Agent. That's pretty sweet.

I swear you guys are a bunch of killjoys. It's just a free card that Blizzard doesn't have to give us. Just take it (or the 100 Dust instead) and move on.

If Blizzard doesn't kill my interest in this game, this community will.
