Now that's the Rafaam I know and love. If he is going to steal something, he will take everything.
On the one hand this video makes me really happy, because it shows the true nature of the ethereal character we are familiar with, but I am still curious to find out WHY exactly Dalaran is the target for his heist plan. I hope there is a big Plot Twist, where we find out, that Rafaam consciously assembled the league of E.V.I.L. to steal a hidden powerful ancient artifact, that grants divine power, and he just uses his band as a distraction to find that item and to use it for himself.

It literally says in the video that there will be a Heroic mode that opens once you clear the whole adventure @ 04:45 mark.

Time to not watching it.

It's tough (impossible) to please everyone. On one hand, I see people who pour countless hours (and likely dollars) into the game, diving into competitive play, working on the meta, collecting every card, who see this as a waste of their time and resources, and hey, that's how they view their Hearthstone experience, and I respect that. I see others who thrive on solo content, who love Dungeon Run, and other modes that offer challenges that you can't find on ladder or in Arena. This is for the latter, highlighting an aspect of the game that is often forgotten, fun for the sake of fun.
I remember countless hours playing Goldeneye 64 with my friends, and you didn't earn anything, it was for fun. Exploring the worlds of the Witcher, Final Fantasy, the early Halo's gave no tangible rewards, they were just fun for the sake of fun. Some players aren't content with that, which is fine, but there are countless others who are, and this mode is exciting in that aspect. Plus, you get 15 packs in the process, which might not please the guy who battles his way to the top of legend each season, but to my wife, who doesn't care about competitive play and just enjoys the Hearthstone world and gameplay, diving time and time again into Dungeons, its a nice bonus. Asking for compensation to include this mode, either through money or in game currency is understandable and expected. I'm excited for the mode, these modes are fun to me. No cards are locked away behind this content, compared to previous adventures, so it really is optional, and I'm excited for it.

Does anyone remember Dead Man's Hand warrior? Absent the turn limit that mirror match could go literally forever as each side stacks armor and copies the same handful of cards.
Elysiana/Banker (or Brewmaster or whatever else) is only an issue in control mirrors with no win condition other than fatigue. It really isn't a problem.

If people don't remember the rewards, you get 15 Rise of Shadows packs (3 per wing completion) and then a cardback and a golden classic pack for clearing the whole thing.
Don't think anything was ever said about heroic rewards during the year of the dragon article. Guess we'll see.

Because no one has ever changed their mind on anything. And if anyone ever did, they must be liars and terrible people in general, because, how could they?

I realy cant understand the whole negativity about the new content right now. Why would you trashtalk it anyways, if you dislike the rewards, the content or blizzards overall pricing strategy, simply dont buy the content, they aren`t forcing you and you basically lose nothing but the experience if you don`t buy it. You can try the first wing for free and if you don`t like it, you can simply stop playing it. Calling it a "cashgrab" or "scam" is just ridiculous to me. They are charging 20$ for the content, considering the rewards, you are getting the PVE content + the golden pack and cardback basically for free. Oh, and dont forget about Zayle, which is an awesome addition for newer players and people with a smaller card collection. The decks are pretty much semi-competetive and might be helpful for everyone who wants to try certain archetypes before investing further ressources in order to craft those decks. I mean what kind of rewards would you expect otherwise that still would be fair?
Some people are trying to compare the new adventure to the old ones (naxx/loe/brm) when it comes to rewards. I must admit that i liked the old ones quite a lot, even from a storytelling perspective and the rewards were pretty neat too at that time. But i think its way more fair and balanced the way it is now. Just imagine giving cards on the level of Thaurissan/Kel`Thuzad/Sludge Belcher/Reno to people that are willing to pay extra money. Im pretty sure tons of people, maybe even the ones that are complaining now as well, would be very upset about the fact, that Blizz would hide such strongs cards behind a paywall and would basically force the players to buy the solo content in order to stay ahead in the meta.
And lastly an advice for all those people that are complaining about the fact, that the PVE contents from earlier were free and that this one costs money: Instead of complaining maybe appreciate that you got so much content for free in the past and keep in mind that Blizzard - no matter how much you like or dislike the content - put a lot of work and effort into the current PVE content and obviously wants to earn money as well.

Those are pretty decent decks overall. I personally don`t need any of them, since i`ve nearly got a full collection, but i think its a pretty nice option for F2P players and beginners.

And then again a bunch of people would complain about the fact, that Blizzard is hiding cards exclusively behind a paywall. The way they are doing it now i think it`s much more fair, since you won`t really lose anything by not buying it expect for the experience itself.

That`s a fantastic point of view!

Why is it useless? We dont even know the decklists yet. And im sure it`s at the very least pretty valuable for players with a limited collection who aren`t tryharding to climb to Legend every season.

I like your gauntlet....i think i will take it!

I`d definetly go for Garrosh there. He`s the more aggressive hero due to the weapon and synergizes well with some of the common used cards in rush warrior like Grommash or Frothing Berserker.
