He's good, but not great. I think he's better when buddies aren't a thing as games are slower so his hero power gets more use. I could also just be bad at playing his buddy.

Yea sure, but not every lobby has Undead and they need the high end Tier 5 and 6 cards to pull it off.

The changes they keep doing to Grease Bot are hilarious. Now it's almost back to previous iteration that was oppressive. Every time the meta changes they have to change it and Toxfin since both seem to be problematic.

A few people will always play it. An amount that makes it sustainable to put work into is another story.

I am yet to be convinced I'm wrong about anything including the intellect of Mercenaries enjoyers.

Lol good riddance. I said from the beginning that Mercenaries had no semblance to Hearthstone and they confirmed it. It's a miserable mode for miserable people. Battlegrounds was an obvious extension, but Mercenaries was just like WTF.

This mode just failed hard from start to finish no matter how hard they tried to make it sound worthwhile. To those who actually played this mode, bless your hearts.

Sometimes it for sure feels rigged, I was the second person in the lobby to TT6. there was 1 other person playing naga who was still on TT4. In 4 turns I couldn’t find either of the T6 naga. The next turn the other Naga player hits TT6 and has two copies of the buff naga.

Yea and sometimes you get dealt pocket kings and someone else at the same table gets dealt pocket aces in the same hand. Was it rigged? Or was it well within the realm of possibility based on probability.

For those who don’t think this game is rigged I want to share with you a scenario and I ain’t good with maths but I’m pretty sure the odds of this happening are extremely unlikely.

im in battlegrounds top 2. I have 40hp and second place has 10hp.
I am dragon deck and although my minions are alll quite high damage I have 2 OP dragons that are like 200-200+ that will just win the game for me by default. But he has that tier 6 poison minion that gains taunt wind fury and divine shield and due to his deck build he would get all of those buffs. I have 0 taunts and I versed him 4 rounds in a row and 4 rounds in a row his poison windfury snipes both my high win condition cards. So hitting the correct 2/7 minions perfectly for 4 rounds straight is rare but it not that bad right?

Well remember when I said he also gets taunt. On that minion. That means if I attack first I could attack that taunt. Problem is he had another taunt. And every round even though I attacked first for 3/4 rounds with 50% chance of hitting that poison and removing his Devine shield with one of my weaker cards. Thus meaning he can no longer kill BOTH my win conditions but still yet I never attacked that taunt.

anyways stuff like this happens A LOT and there is a skill element to battlegrounds knowing combos and strats and how to build a deck and be effective with gold. But there are things that happen which are completely luck based like not attacking first for like 6 rounds in a row when your first minion ramps up the rest of your minions like a beast deck (and yes with 7 minions on board)

If that's the worst you've seen then that's nothing. I've been screwed way worse than that and never once though it was rigged. You're just not used to games that have randomness in them and don't understand probabilities well. Try some poker and take a few really bad beats and then claim it's rigged lol.

In my opinion the MMR part is the problem. Why is the MMR hidden? It happened to me to play against streamers so I could exactly see their MMR, I had 7.6k, they had 12k. If you win a few games you are paired with way higher MMR players. This is the biggest problem in my opinion. Make the MMR visible, and don't pair us with 3-4k higher players. And maybe give more points for top4 place.

I think Kripp has addressed this before. Above 7.5k or so there just are not that many players so that's why you get matched with much higher rated players.

What about the people who spent money or dust to get those cards and then they can't use them for a month? Tough luck bud your enjoyment of the game is less important than mine?

you are deflecting to a different issue but nothing productive will come out of a conversation with your attitude so end it here

I didn't deflect anything lol. I responded to the guys idea and addressed it's viability in both cases. You have not yet once said anything about the argument and have simply dismissed anything you don't agree with.

I'm very flattered by your attention, but how about addressing the ideas rather than me. Maybe learn about ad hominem as well as whataboutism while you're at it.

damn that is some solid what aboutisme, sound like you lack real world expirence. there are downsides and upsides with everything

You mean whataboutism? No it's not because I'm not deflecting to a different issue. I'm addressing the argument and assessing it's viability. Please learn the definition or words you are using.

Do you mean experience? I don't know what your argument there is other than attempting to offend me. Do you just not like when people point out problems with your way of doing things? Maybe you need some experience in dealing with viewpoints other than your own.

Let us ban cards of our choice.

     Good luck finding an opponent.

     a dynamic banlist...

every month 5 most played cards in previous season are banned, and 3 random allready banned cards are unbanned... and this every month... that would change the meta over and over...

Ok, but what about the people who like their decks and don't want to change them up every month and relearn a whole new meta? What about people who crafted a card they thought they would be able to use only to find out it gets banned for a month? You know, most people who play the game. The amount of arrogance on this site is astounding...
