I'm assuming you have Baku the Mooneater and Genn Greymane so if you wait til rotation you'll get enough dust for 2 legendaries right? It'll be a little over 1 month from now. If you're impatient, then disenchant other possible crappy cards that you don't play. Any contenders you're willing to list for us?
You burned Anduin to not play a card right? Why would Mass Hysteria be a must keep against a defensive warrior deck? Why is a 2nd one and a psychic scream not enough?
When you're playing a deck with a high curve you need to quickly distinguish what is a throwaway card and a must keep. That's just one of the aspects of playing this deck, a deck which I believe is one of the harder to play in the meta. Because the deck relies on resurrection of minions and comboing your opponent, every microdecision matters. Do you tempo a velen to get it killed? Do you hold onto it for guaranteed burst? Do you shadow visions for burn or a spellstone?
I really think you need to watch a streamer play this deck to get a sense for it. I always thought this deck looks like it doesn't make any sense and shouldn't work, but in the hands of good players it can do amazing things.
A bit like OTK Paladin. I can play Gallery Priest but not that deck, though to be fair it's only because I get pretty lucky with Lyra the Sunshard.
Argument still stands, Priest has definitely had at least 1 meta-defining deck within the history of Hearthstone, and it will continue to get them if Blizzard tries too hard to make them relevant.
I only have 164 Ranked wins with Rogue and I've been playing since beta. Although my Priest and Shaman are the only two classes that aren't at level 60.
Priest has had meta-defining decks but not due to any synergy with their core evergreens e.g. Undertaker Priest, Shadowreaper Razakus & Dragon Priest. Blizzard always has to give Priest stronger cards in new expansions to retain its relevance. I think they should instead improve their basic and classic sets or give them a stronger class identity altogether.
The underlying problem with Priest is its lack of class identity and weak evergreens. This means it's always going to need strong cards from a new expansion because too many of their base core cards are too slow or situational.
"Being the new black" doesn't mean that it's strong, but that it's very popular. The prediction was spot-on.
Frequency means popularity. It's definitely not as popular as Mage, Warlock or even Priest currently. And it's no where near the same level of popularity as Quest Rogue in the first 2 weeks of Un'goro.
I know a lot of people overhyped Kingsbane. I did not, fortunately. I can safely say that approximately 100% of all Hearthpwn users predicted Spell Hunter incorrectly.
