I crafted Dollmaster Dorian, despite knowing he was bad, because its not all that often a character has the same name as me... So why not?

A lot of times I see posts like this where people are upset because the game is too fast or too controlling and that's fair; metagames shift as new cards are released so this is kinda unavoidable. When people say this I often compared Hearthstone to MTG. In MTG there are a vast amount of formats and decks even in the most boring of formats. For example, even if the best deck is mono red aggro there are multitudes of ways to build unique decks that can win out against it even if you take some loses against control.

Unlike Hearthstone, expansions for MTG have upwards of 300 cards (and of course there are still broken cards). I think that having a large card pool helps to allow for more variety. And yet... The Hearthstone team probably would not make such a large set (not to mention everyone would complain about having to spend a large amount of money to get the complete set) but it may be a solution to this issue.

Honestly I rarely spend money on Hearthstone. I just play wild and battlegrounds. Many players might not want to get into wild as it has a large card pool and lots of powerful decks... But meme decks are just so fun even if you don't win. There are so many fun decks that can be played in wild. I would strongly encourage trying it out.
