Kwakdizzle posted a message on Mecha'thunPosted in: Mecha'thunYou know, a year ago, if I were to design a combo card that guarentees a win, I would have made an insane condition like "empty board, empty hand, empty deck, and it's a 10 mana minion that has to die" and smirk at the impossibility of it.
To my utter amazement, the game has progressed to a level where this actually works - in multiple classes - as a semi-viable competetive deck.

Yes, because Mecha'thun decks are soooooo easy to play just like Shudderwock. Ok but actually, this card is very different from Shudderwock and actually requires thinking, you cant just vomit your cards onto the board to make the combo work, you need to draw your whole deck, and empty your hand while holding onto specific combo cards.
Also im not sure why you think they failed, since there are several solid Mecha'thun decks.

Man I feel really bad for N'zoth, first he wasn't shown in the new WOW expansion, so he'll have to wait another 3 or so years to be in WOW and now Blizzard decided to include this new legendary that super hard counters him #feelsbadman

This was way more broken then jade druid and if you actually liked this card then that's sad.

It is actually a pretty cool idea to copy C'thun and Anceint Shielbearer over and over to beat control decks. I like how even though no C'thun cards have been added since WOTOG that there are other cards that support C'thun decks. What I don't like are people like you who only care about win rates and have to shoot down ideas, because you don't want to take the effort to tech your deck against aggro.

Well then you must have disenchanted him, because you can no longer open duplicates. Also you should have kept him, because he will likely fit into a good deck in a next expansion or two considering that blizzard designs Hearthstone expansions ahead of each other.
