Hey, I did the same thing as you: I was struggling to find the best control deck to climb then Clark’s deck made me realize how undying allies and balaseth can be powerful in quest priest.
since I included them I’ve never lost to DK or aggro priest, and that’s a large majority of the games I played! Demon hunter seems impossible to beat, though.
your build is cool but I think Svalna and harvester are too slow. In which matchups do you feel you need them ? The weakness of my deck is having only one 7 drop and one 8 drop, just like you, but also no way to get another because I have no steal/copy/discover cards. It’s not such a big deal because the quest is only for blood dk - you need to play around the disrupt cards and you win.
it was such a good time when you could win with a control deck without any combo shit including these « win from the hand » stupidities.
I was very happy when they nerfed Denathrius but Brann + Astalor is maybe even worse so in fact nothing changed. And there is Jace… Jace is such a wonderful experience too.
I know I should play aggro but I don’t have fun doing it. I just hope others will do it and destroy these greedy combo players.
If you play control, you have to run Theotar / Mutanus AND to steal / destroy Denathrius or you can’t win. This is not normal.
at first I thought I liked this expansion a lot but now I only face druids and it’s so boring. I didn’t even realize that shaman could also be a problem.
Denathrius is far too strong. For now, this is my only concern with the expansion.
I climbed very easily to diamond 5 using your deck with a few changes. The quilboar amalgam is definitely great, as well as using the murlocs for the quest. thanks! Now let’s try to reach legend.
Thanks for the deck, I feel unstoppable with big deathrattle priest. Paladins, warriors and thief rogues are easy wins except when they make a very very strong start, and that’s enough to climb because they’re everywhere.
The only problem is that this archetype is not very funny.… having fun and climbing at the same time seems impossible for me these days.
I try hard to build something that works with deck of chaos. I tried your deck and I think it works quite well ! But I removed Cthun from the deck : I don’t see any solid reason to have him here, the finishers being the clowns when it goes to fatigue.
I surely didn’t play as many games as you, so maybe there is something I don’t see. Why do you need Cthun in this deck ?
I’ve been playing plot twist warlock since it exists, trying to find the best deck after each extension.
Yours is very good, for sure. My main doubt is Licensed Adventurer. Not that it’s bad but isn’t there anything better ? Can you explain how you use it ?

Hi
i play a control deck with archwitch since the beginning of the month and I’ve been through the same choices as you.
Y’Shaarj is too slow, Ruswick is too slow, I even removed Tickatus and Jaraxxus…but I use deck of chaos, n’zoth and a few cards that combo with both.
it kinda works. I reached diamond 3.
the quest decks (warlock, mage, shaman) are a big challenge even after last nerf.

Good deck! One remark about the video : you should try to show a game against a trending deck, paladin or mage at the moment.
For this mega, warlock vs warlock games are not very interesting and no one plays control shaman.

I’m interested ! I tried with the dragons last month but my results are better this month without them.
not fantastic, though. I climb but it’s very slow.
rogue is a big problem...

Yes that’s exactly what I did too ! I tried a few replacements and it seems the best one is mechanical whelp.
the 2 elleks are also very good against priest because you need to duplicate twisting nether / Godfrey a few times to win. I kept them.

I also almost never have to play both Elleks.
thanks

Thanks for the deck and guide!
I’ve been playing plot twist warlock for some time and I think your version is one of the best.
M’y previous deck was the same as yours except for 4-5 cards, I made the change and it’s definitely better now!

Interesting, I like this ! Just one thing : can you explain why you run Vanish ?

What a deck !! I’ve probably been lucky but for now it works very well for me, thank you 🙏
