Zilliax is better. Azalina is tech for uncommon matchups that you usually lose irrespective of her.

If you would just want to kill all the small minions even mossy horror is an option. A bit more expensive but it comes right after giggling or spreading plague.

Buffed hero power is better than Mossy Horror.

2 Blood Knight to 1 Void Ripper seems correct currently.

posted a message on Myra's Unstable Element. Viable in this meta?

Absolutely. Myra's is a great addition to Odd Rogue. The deck can do a lot of damage very quickly but runs out of steam fast if you take that approach against control decks. Myra's gives you a second wind (drawing 7-10 cards in the late game can give you a very good chance to find Leeroy/Cold Blood or other lethal combos) that can often end games instantly when you would have otherwise been ground out. Its also not even bad in the aggro mirror, drawing it early on allows you to completely dictate the pace of play by throwing all your resources onto the board and trading everything off 1 for 1, and then draw a full new hand while your opponent is sitting there top decking a single minion each turn.

Roping isn’t an offence, though. If people want to use the full 75 seconds of their turn, no matter what their motives are, they are within their rights to do so. Why is this considered remotely problematic? It’s just part of the game. If your opponent wishes to spend a minute and a quarter debating how they think the next few turns will unfold, or use their time as a resource to deliberately irritate you, that’s their call I’m afraid.

The rope itself is the solution to time wasting and it’s fine as it is. The rules say you get 75 seconds to take your turn. Your opponent is free to do what s/he wishes with the 75 seconds (as are you), whether that’s trying to annoy you on purpose or genuinely considering the development of the next few turns and whether going face with their 1/2 dagger on turn 2 is the correct play. If it’s pissing you off then well done to your opponent, who has successfully tilted you by doing absolutely nothing.

honestly id just tech in a mossy horror if you face druid that much. at turn 7 you probably don't have any/don't care too much about your 1 or 2 2-attack minions anyway and you just want to apply pressure through his wall of taunts. also helps against other classes giggling inventor stalls.

I think the 2/2 dagger is better than mossy horror.

posted a message on Rank 2 0 stars with Odd rogue

I think Odd Rogue is one of the best decks to ladder with right now. Fast games and a lot of good matchups (you crush all warlock builds, all other rogue builds, all egg variants, and pretty much every other aggro deck that isn’t odd paladin). Just keep playing and don’t get demotivated after a loss. You feel the losses more when you play a fast deck because you will lose a lot more games but keep in mind you will also win a lot more games and as long as you keep your head and play optimally as much as possible, you’ll climb to legend fairly quickly.

the list I got legend with this season:

    S53 Legend
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (26) Ability (4)
    Loading Collection

2x Blood Knight , I consider this tech to be almost core as long as Giggling Inventor is used in 40% of the decks.
2x Void Ripper is also important as it deals with a number of things in the current meta, plus it often enables some efficient trades and rarely some shenanigans to find lethal.

Id say the weakest card in the deck is Captain Greenskin, I might swap it for Myra's Unstable Element at some point

Looks good - dont have Greenskin and so far i'm not sure about crafting Myra's Unstable Element - does it realy give it that much swing or could it also work without it ?

The deck works without Myra’s for sure, but the card is so broken it definitely increases your win % and if you’re serious about playing Odd Rogue regularly it’s a worthy craft.

posted a message on Odd Rogue what are the best performing 3 and 5 drops?

The version I used that took me from rank 1, 1 star to legend with 0 losses played 2 blood knights and 2 fledglings in the flex 3 drop slots and 2 giggling inventors in the flex 5 drop slots. Baku is obviously one of the missing cards and I also play Myra’s unstable element and 1 void ripper.

Blood knight is insane. It makes a mockery of giggling inventor (if your opponent isn’t running it they are gimped against you anyway) and the fact that an unanswered turn 1 argent squire can end up granting you a 6/6 on turn 3 is reason enough to run this card.

I don’t like fledgling that much as it is very easy to answer but so is just about everything else that fits in the slot and it can force sub optimal plays or threaten to get out completely of control.

Myra’s is freaking insane and I am fully convinced the optimal build runs it. When you run out of gas in a control matchup and need a final push, drawing 7 or 8 cards can very easily get you to leeroy/deck hand/cold blood/deadly poison combos to finish the game. It has even won me aggro mirrors where I’ve been able to aggressively trade all my resources simply because when we’re both down to our last couple of cards I know I can get a complete hand refill and immediately swing the board on the following turn.

Void ripper is a bit techy but I don’t think anything fits the slot better. Blink Fox can do some nutty things but most of the time it whiffs and I feel like the board impact of ripper and potential surprise lethals is more worthwhile.
