Sorry mech warriors, the gigs up. If you see an OTK mech'thun priest, run for the hills :( their otk combo is killer to our build. You either win early, or you are going to lose late game 100%

armor up? as long as you're not dealing dmg to their face, they couldn't care less.

Make a big magnetic minions? big deal. A psychic Scream will clear it off the board. and with their fast draw build, their bound to get it pretty quick.

unfortunately you have to ignore all their minions when possible. though you may want to get rid off their north shire clerics. so they will end up clearing their own board on their own. but they may do stuff like mirage caller to summon more of their minions which you didn't clear.... and they will also hemet to burn even more cards faster.... and you got to win while their burning/drawing through their deck at an insane pace (on top of them having amarath on standby to max heal them back to 40 hp....) o-o; good luck with that.

to identify otk priest mech'thun, if they play a bunch of death rattles, and just surviving and removals mostly (or awaken makers, but some also don't have it and can still make do), then you may as well forfeit :( unless you feel you can win a fast game >:[

there is also a budget otk priest using boars i see which is also equally effective against our mech warrior deck

azalina isn't that important for this mech deck. Security Rover is very good, add it. Beryllium Nullifier is a MUST!!! your main strat is to keep magnetizing a spell and hero power immune super minion.

it's not broken because they got counters for it like a single target destroy Vilespine SlayerCrushing WallsBrawlTwisting Nether, and a lot more...

so even using Beryllium Nullifier to build up a super minion, you're risking 1 single target that can be dealt with. this meta, others should be smart enough to add a counter just for this kinda of situation or their gonna get wrecked against us.

Zilliax is good because it has a lot of effects going for it. rush is decent but once you got dr boom out, it's just redundant overlap. i find the magnetize effect, shield AND taunt to be of more value. great card but you can still play this deck without it.

If anything, get Dr. Boom, Mad Genius FIRST!!! this is the core for this build. Omega Assembly is also core, get 2 of them (i only recommend using this at turn 10 for best value). Eternium Rover + Bronze Gatekeeper is a great early combo for turn 1-3 (later on try to get Beryllium Nullifier magnetize to them to protect from removal. Dyn-o-matic is crazy good vs non mech decks. but it loses it's worth against mech decks, but can still be used as a rusher once dr booms passive is in effect.

2 Shield Block, Weapons Project for armoring up (later on with dr boom you can also armor up as well that way). i suggest considering Reckless Flurry which breaks your armor to do that dmg same as your armor to the entire board minions (i would first use brawl before resorting to reckless flurry most often). if you can't afford it's okay, you can make do with Warpath, Shield Slam and Execute. Brawl is also great to have (but if possible try and play the hero power that spawns 3 1/1 minions prior to using it for the best effect. Also setting the board up with a Giggling Inventor before using brawl is also a good strat)

Slam is also a decent card. i usually use it with a combination of Blood Razor, or to weaken something to make it easier for Dyn-o-matic to board clear (usually the next turn)

for your starting hand, you want

Eternium Rover and [card]Bronze Gatekeeper[/card]. this combo early game is insane.

    shield block is also good.

i opened like 15 packs. the rest i crafted. i had like 3-4k dust on hand thkfully :} warrior, rogue and druid are the last classes i need to lv up. for this meta i'm quite happy with mech warrior so i invested in that as my main deck for current meta.

maybe i'd take out one of the weapon project. in one game i didn't end up using the 2nd one because the priest was almost out of cards and low hp. the armor help him more than me at that point.

I'm pretty average player just a heads up. but i'm having decent success and fun with this. I'm still contemplating adding the mecha'thun into this deck, but not sure yet what i am willing to take out. There are certainly games where at the end i may run out of cards, thats why i'm careful with omega assembly to use it at turn 10. a mecha'thun would really improve my odds of winning late game when me and opponent are finishing cards.

I noticed that the Clockwork Automaton could double the hero power damage for Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. So that 3dmg spell became a 6dmg spell that cost 2. and another of his skills is that aoe 1 dmg, could become a 2dmg. I drew that card at random when i used Omega Assembly. I don't know whether this doubling will effect the armor up hero power for dr boom, but if it does that would be nuts, because 7 armor would become 14 armor.

Anyway this is the deck i'm using atm.

If you can't afford reckless fury, you can easily make do with Shield Slam, brawl and warpath.

why missing shield slam? and reckless fury? eternium rover can generate crazy armor why not take advantage of that. With the crazy armor generated, you will have that on standby for another board wipe if enemy pushes too hard or you lose board control. then you can use the armor to wipe board with fury. only cost 3 and you got enuff to spare to play something else.

    board nice and clean

see how much armor i have? at this point i'm just armoring up and waiting for him to flood his board before i bother to use reckless fury. because if i use now, it would just burn up all my 35 armor. is better to wait until i can get max value out of it.

death cthun seems like it would be a good finisher for this build. i got this by sheer luck using the omega assembly card. to me it would seem better to replace azalina for it. because with this build you can armor up and survive till end game to be able to cast him. anyway i incorrectly played mecha'thun. was suppose to use up all my hand, let all my minions die, and only mecha'thun on board.
