posted a message on Remove Tickatus from the game already.

The buff to Jaraxxus has cemented Warlock as the alpha and omega of control decks, I'm still effortlessly smashing priests and maintaining a 60-70% winrate as I role into high platinum. All you have to do with priest is draw the game out and it's pretty much a guaranteed win, they just can't keep up with the creature removal, deck destruction, infernos and Ysaarj.

I almost feel bad for priest, I might after another 6 months of this.

posted a message on Tickatus is good or bad for this game because...

If there was less Tickatus, there'd be more control preist, is that really better?

I don't play my tickatus because it's good, I play it to cull the control priest population.

This deck feels unfair, 5-0 and tearing through the gold ranks.

I don't have Revenant Rascal and used Shadowlight Scholar instead and it's  been super effective, helps  clear off your opponents board and or deal the killing blow and you don't use soul fragments for much else.

posted a message on You people deserve sweet f all - Opinion on the community

I've been a F2P player since dropping $100 on standard when it came out. The game stays fun because every expansion I can usually put together 2-4 decks that can get into low platinum and I'm happy with that.  If packs were $0.50 each I'd pay $20 every expansion, get a few more competitive decks per expansion, maybe get into diamond and be perfectly happy with all that.I usually save up ~2k-3k gold before each new expansion drops, so by the time I'm done with my free packs, I have no incentive to drop $20 in the hopes that I get 1-3 cards I want. I accept that this game is for the whales and we all swim in their wake.

I seem to be the exact type of person Blizzard is targeting with these changes, but I'm just going to accept the fact that I'm going to be a little less competitive going forward, but they'll never squeeze more money out of me unless they drop prices for their card packs. The idea of paying the same as in store prices for CCG is ridiculous: there is no physical copy, I can't sell them, can't trade them and if blizzard stops supporting Hearthstone, they all turn into smoke and disappear forever.

Plus Blizzard are a bunch of CCP bootlickers and a hollow shell of the company they used to be, it's no longer a company i inherently want to support.

Bloodsail Corsair × 2  ! Can you explain? Why not use Bloodsail Flybooter and get more tockens? Is removing 1 weapon durability so important?

posted a message on WE NEED MORE NERFS!!!! Here's how I would do it!

Is there some way to buff priest? I seem to play against priest 50% of the time and I'd like to get that up to at least 80%.

If we see a Harrison Jones resurrection we can safely say this card is broken.

I find 2x Power of Creation is essential for this deck type, putting out two full health Damaged Stegotron on turn 6 is bonkers, I also like to throw in a Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron as a hail mary play (it's honestly not a great card, I mostly just think it's hilarious). 1x Tortollan Pilgrim is really good, and Malygos, Aspect of Magic is a great add too. I also like putting in a Crowd Roaster

If you can your hands on those pricey cards, I'd cut Learn Draconic (too slow and bad with Tortollan Pilgrim), you can live without frostbolts and fireballs. I'd run with 1 Arcane Intellect as this deck has a lot of card generators and high value cards, but there is a lack of dragon cards that synergize with this deck, so you need to draw what options you have. Big Ol' Whelp × 2 is a also a bit too slow for the current meta.

The general strategy with these decks is to hold on through the early game, then use Dragoncaster to take over the mid game, then get the win with Pyroblast and/or dominating the board with Conjurer's Calling and other high value cards. This deck suffers from being too slow for the meta and really needs some better 1-3 drop options for dragons, which forced me to put in a Violet Spellwing I don't think anyone's breaking rank 5 with this deck type (Highlander mage is better, I just have no Highlander Mage cards).

When I got to Legend, the most important part was that I was unemployed, spent all day playing and knew all the other top decks and playstyles.

This makes some really helpful tweaks to the stock "Drop The Ancharr" deck. I'm finding a Sul'thraze a better choice over the Reapers, throw on an upgrade and invoke and you've got an 8/5 weapon capable of wiping your opponents board and finishing them off in one turn.

I'm currently trying a Sul'thraze and and Supercollider instead of Reapers, the Supercollider hasn't been very useful, but Sul'thraze has been rocking the house.
