We've isolated the issue to one of our site nodes which wasn't behaving. We've taken it offline which prevents anyone from hopping onto it so all logins to HearthPwn accounts should now be successful.
This behaviour explains why a couple of people were able to get around it after previously having it break - they simple got routed to a different node!
How to Unmerge
It's quite simple to unmerge your Twitch account from HearthPwn account. Visit the following URL and click the link that says 'Merge with a different HearthPwn account'. This will ask you to confirm, click yes. After confirmation, you can login to your HearthPwn account as usual.
Just to put it out there again, at some point in the future we will require Twitch logins. It hasn't been determined when that will be but I will make sure we give advance notice of it.
Thanks everyone for your feedback this evening and for staying patient with us while we looked into the issue. Have yourselves a good day, I'm off to get some rest!
Maybe consider sticky-ing this post?
This effected only a small set of users on one of our 6 nodes, making a sticky about the account unmerges is not wise, as we have run into people that signed up with only twitch ending up with orphaned accounts.
When it comes time for the real merge, there will be plenty of information and warning, all over the site.
When this does happen, the force only happens for those logged in, with an old legacy Curse account. The experience for signed out users will remain the same as it is now, no need for an account.
achivments were disabled to help keep the site up for now. Hearthpwn is currently seeing record traffic, and had to temp disable some things for performance.
Well, mouse over didn't work for me in his game a couple minutes ago, but it worked on the following match. He definitely played cards while I was viewing the 1st game.
he must draw a card first. This is just due to the way it sends events. A new game will always work from the start if you end up joining before it starts!
The import button was removed as its no longer needed as blizzard has added its own way to import decks. Simply find any deck you want to use on hearthpwn, and just use the "copy deck for hearthstone" then go to the deck creation screen and hearthstone will see the deck in your clipboard.
The button was removed as there is no longer a need for it :)
every deck on hearthpwn now has a "copy to use deck in hearthstone" Blizzard added a new mechinic that if it sees a deck in your clipboard, it will ask you if you want to make a deck with it, all on its own!
so because we use twitch logins ,when you click login or register, it loads the twitch oauth iframe. so if you are signed in on twitch, it will auto use that. If you truley want a full on second account
1) sign out of innkeeper 2) sign out of hearthpwn 3) sign out of twitch.tv
then make a new twitch account, to use on hearthpwn, and then login with innkeeper with that for your second account.
thats a pure visual bug. its still only 1 vote, and only on your end. Its a known thing with the way we handle caching on votes. Something we want to fix. but its not urgent as its not giving more votes than 1
If you watch his stream, and wait for him to draw/play a card, youll be able to mouse over any card on the board, or any hero power and get a tooltip. Should be helpful while people are learnign the new cards and watching streams.

This has been fixed, and we also added in the days for it being disabled. (may take a few for cache to show it)

looks like the ceck region error isnt the issue, its getting some very odd error. Having one of our devs check that log.
