    12-2 with a 75-point Priest deck. I thought I could do better but hey, it's still a 12-win run.

EVIL Conscripters and 3 Kabal Talonpriests were the MVPs. Although it's graded poorly, Youthful Brewmaster provided me some flexibility with so many lackeys.

Spoken like a true smorc casual player.

As for what i enjoy facing in casual, basically anything that allows me to play my deck.If i do my thing but lose anyway, so be it. I had my fun, i did the interaction i was hoping to make, so i am satisfied.

Losing to a spamming 'i will be your death' or 'greetings traveller' before i get to even play my deck is not fun.Ok sir, you won.I hope your sore from ranked b*tthole feels better now that you won my meme deck with your S tier deck.

Incidentally, I only play casual when I have a quest and I concede when I get it done. But if there's anything I hate more than casual, it's people being hypocrites.

If you want to complete a quest with s tier decks then why not play them in ranked instead? That's what i do as it progresses my rank as well. Two birds with one stone. The ' i do it for quests' argument is a lame excuse for those who are either salty and use casual to vent of their frustration, or for those who have rank anxiety and are afraid of losing their 14 rank.

And this does not affect only those who want to experiment, but hinders those who don't have a competive deck to complete thier quests as well.Huh and you call me a hypocrite.

I'm not calling you a hypocrite, I was talking about people who complain about netdecks while also playing netdecks.

As preface, you're not playing a "completely original and homebrew" deck if you only changed a couple of cards from an existing netdeck.

The Salt Thread have been home to enough entries about how "casual sucks because of netdecks", which gave me an insight about HS community in general, the more I've read it. People tend to complain about the most minute shit ever. Apparently, you're not allowed to play anything in casual. Examples range from Muckmorpher Shaman and Holy Wrath Pally, to Heal Druid and Nomi Priest (all have below %50 winrates). I fail to understand what the problem is.

So my question to the people who complain about casual: What do you want to play against? If you want to stomp beginners who play River Crocolisks and Chillwind Yetis, then concede a bunch of times until your MMR is lower.

I've picked Warlock 5 times after the expansion. My win counts were 12-10-9-12 and I have a 9-1 Arena run I have yet to finish. Something definitely needs to be done about class balance or the bucket system. After 8 wins, it's all Warlock.

12-2 with a 69-point Warlock deck. Could have gone 12-1 but I misplayed against another Warlock. The Black Knight is one of the best cards in Arena. Pick it immediately if it's offered.

Rewards were shit, but that's Arena for you...

Of course.  There are rewards for playing ranked.

Why would you ever not play ranked, unless you actually want to practice a new deck first?

To play homebrew decks against other homebrew decks.

That used to be possible. Ever since RoS casual has been predominantly ladder practice mode.

You've been complaining non-stop about Casual LONG before RoS dude...

     and?

You said "it used to be possible to play homebrew decks against other homebrew decks in casual." And I'm saying, you were complaining about how much casual sucks, long before RoS launched.

I play Ranked until I reach Rank 5 every month, which takes about 5-10 games at most. After that, I mess around with bad decks and stop around Rank 3-4. I will not be playing it anymore though, because of how prevalent Control Warrior is at the moment and how boring it is to play against.

I never play Casual. I just don't see the point.

Most of my ingame time is spent in Arena, which I feel is the superior mode. It's way more satisfying then anything that Ranked has to offer.

2nd 12-win run of the expansion! This time with a tempo oriented, 67.4 Hunter deck. Emeriss as a reward is awesome as well :)

I think I'm finally getting the hang of the new Arena.

12-0! Finally! My first 12-win run this expansion and my 4th ever 12-0 run.

Couldn't take a screenshot of my final score, because I accidentally skipped it while trying to tab back in :(

As for the deck, N'Zoth, the Corruptor synergy is real. Most of my earlier matches were already over before I had a chance to play the OG Old God. But after my 8th win, he stepped up and won me some games. It was a very fun deck overall.

Maybe I'm alone on this, but I really hate Wild cards in Arena. I think Arena is fun when you can play around stuff and tailor your gameplan according to a smaller selection of cards. I know for most people this format is much better and more fun, but I would have preferred Arena was standard only.

Or is the new Arena dogshit? 2 days ago, in my first Arena run of the expansion, I went 11-2 and I've been incredibly unlucky with my runs since. Highest after that was 8-3 and I finished maybe 4-5 runs around 3-5 wins. I was consistently getting 12 wins prior to the expansion and even had a 3 12-win streak heading into Rise of Shadows. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I simply can't go past 6 wins consistently like I used to.

I feel like everyone has insane decks, even at 1-2-3 wins. I played a Priest who played 9 removals against me, while also playing premium minions, at 3-2. At 3-2???

Is the overall deck quality higher or am I just crazy? And what are your overall thoughts about the current state of Arena?

posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place! V2

I was playing a semi-decent 68 point Rogue deck in Arena (my first Arena run this expansion). I drafted after the Rogue card pool nerfs so my deck was a grade above "total ass". Went 11-2 and came across a Priest as my final boss.

Dude played crazy good deathrattle minions all game and played a golden N'Zoth, the Corruptor just as I managed to run him out of cards. Are you fucking shitting me?

posted a message on This meta is fun?

I really want to play Thief Rogue but it's so hard to win, when people are literally running 2 Oozes in every deck they play. That's probably my only complaint. I'm mainly playing Dragon Pally and Heal Druid at the Rank 5 floor and I've been stealing some games from tier 1 decks.

I don't think the meta is as bad as some people are making it out to be.
