posted a message on New Warrior Card - Thorium Knuckles

I think this is a solid weapon right now, I chose playable.

I think of situations where this could buff a card out of certain removals.

Such as +1/+1 to a justicar, pushing it to a much harder to deal with 4 toughness. Sylvannas to 6/6 means a cleaner trade/steal with a 6/6 on board like Tirion, crusher, etc. Or just a minion further ahead of the curve. Could even buff acolyte to a 2/4 for some extra card advantage, etc.

I am shocked at how low this card was voted. I voted meta-defining.
This is warrior's Hound master without the beast requirement.

I feel this will change the meta because it is a perfect card for a tempo warrior/dragon warrior deck to generate some much needed extra pressure/tempo. Even one buff and this thing is budgeted perfectly, will bring tempo/dragon warr back to T1.

The minion that is buffed by this card will definitely be a contender for hard removal, such as a midrange shaman's hex. Which means the bigger cards will survive and win the match, like Grom/Deathwing/Crusher.

Are you crazy? You could get 50 packs and free legendaries if you play well.

Anyone not shit will be able to easily profit off this compared to buying packs with gold.

posted a message on STD C'thun Shaman

I appreciate your in depth comment, I am not really sure where to go with C'thun shaman.

There's the obvious C'thun shell, then there are a BOATLOAD of good shaman, WOG and neutral cards haha.

I agree I need more card draw to find C'thun, so another totem and even ancestral knowledge.. but I don't want too many overload cards, otherwise that's more cards that I need to add to the deck.

I chose alakir because it synergizes well with rockbiter weapon as a win con and gives extra reason to use rockbiter as early game removal or profitable trading.

To be honest I just went through and built as many decks as I could think of for WOG Standard, this was the hardest deck to build  because there were just soooo many options. But I suppose that represents obvious power with a proper list.

I agree, Brann seems out of place with only one battlecry.

Finley is questionable because the priest does revolve around auchenai soulpriest and hero power to do damage.

I'd be more inclined to include justicar instead of brann, giving more reach and/or survival. Or even Thaurissan for the OTK with prophet like the other versions.

posted a message on Reward & Promo Set Cards Restricted to Wild Format

Well I completely disagree with that statement. Freeze mage is quite easy to beat as a skilled murloc pally.

All you have to do is pressure them to 1 hp and drop them to 1 hp at fatigue, keep a padded lifetotal (simple with two loh/bots/tsc) and let fatigue do its job. Forget iceblock even exists, you dont even have to worry about pressure. The only way to lose the match is with a nut draw thaurissan/alex kill.

And if we're talking standard, there were many well fitting replacements to the rotating cards in anyfin. The core remained completely intact. Meanwhile freeze lost some key cards like scientist, making it a more clunky deck. Healbot would be replaced by refreshment vendor most likely, although there are a few options available.

Sad but true. I dislike this new win or loss rule. At least if you lost, you were encouraged to play more.

Although I am not an avid brawl player, if it's a mechanic I find fun, I will play brawl with my wife or while I'm waiting for something in mobile where I may not have the time to focus on a ranked match. Now it may be a challenge to find an opponent who actually wants to play and not get their free pack!

    What an awful card back.

I couldn't even tell it was animated as I was looking all over it for something moving. I only noticed when I focused on one particular point.

As for Linkin Park... I love them, although in my opinion they should've stopped after Meteora. No sense changing styles when Chester can't scream like the original albums.

I actually want to have the legend chest now :) Still rank 5 as I did not play in the last few days, I need to make a push. I'm not sure how the expansion will change things though.

FWIW, you should be possibly rewarded for running a current successful archetype for the first few days/weeks of the added cards as people experiment with new builds and brews.

Aggro decks are notorious for destroying adjusting metas and are often the first deck tested against in the deck test gauntlet before tackling combo decks.

posted a message on Hearthstone on Mobile is now LIVE, Patch 8416 Official Notes

I agree completely... It felt so counter intuitive to click on my hand to see it and have it cover up part of the board state while Im thinking about what to do.. sometimes when playing control like hand lock, I'd have to toggle my hand on and off multiple times. After playing a cracked tablet version for so long, switching to this.. I much prefer a mini tablet version. I tried to drag so many cards from my retracted hand it's not even funny!

Maybe it's because I am using a Note 4 and this allows it to be played on much smaller phones. Maybe they can enable full view like PC in the future. Tablet felt so much better.

Also. covering up the interactive terrain is not okay! I cant even knock down the coconuts in STV or break stuff in Stormwind! Gotta do something while people go to time every turn as if it's the world championship.

Although all in all, I am super happy its actually available for phones and updates can be done without having to re-download the tablet version on a pc, and re-install every new patch. Also being able to read chat without the keyboard covering it was a much needed addition.
