Amazing design, very comparable to stormshear windcaller except much better. These kinds of 'small quest' cards, where you do something to make something strong, but not instantly game winning happen are a super cool and balanced design, and I really think the game needs more of this.
19 years old, been playing since naxx. I've never been above rank 7 nor have I ever really tried to reach high ranks. I mainly enjoy collecting cards and memeing in low ranks occasionally being lucky enough to get rank 10 with some dumb deck.
I hope Terrorwood Stinger isn’t a real card ( since the same already exists for two mana) , wich actually shows that the Drider is a bit too weak.
It's meant to be collectible since it's common. Also, it's perfectly balanced. It's just a Pit Snake with swapped stats.
By the way, Combusting Felshard kinda exists already and is called Living Bomb.
No, it’s not perfectly balanced.
The point of pit snake is that it can be removed by a token or a heropower next turn . A 2 HP poisonous minion would be twice as good ( like I wrote it already exists for Druid at 2 mana, or as Gastropod, I know taunt is huge, but one mana is a bigger difference), since attack is almost irrelevant anyway. ( vs minions they kinda have infinitive attack)
A one mana, 2 hp poisonous minion would be an extreme powercreep over pitsnake . It could take out any other 1/3 one drop and still be around. Yes it would die to a Divineshield 1/1 or two 1/1s( lost in the jungle) , but having poisonous is huge and usually has statewise some significant downsides.
But because rogue has cards like Betrayal it can be used as a sabotage minion. So its not a powercreeped version of Pit Snake
I don’t know if you read the conversation with Nioin carefully, but there I said i hope that The Stinger wouldn’t be a real playable card, basically just the token from the Drider. (Nioin thought it was a collectible card) .
Also i already added that Terrorwood Drider , basically is like a worse Gravelsnout Knight. Worse stats and you give your opponent a infinite attack( kinda) 2 hp minion . Yes there is some betrayal potential, but not sure if you can play cards like that in Rouge ( probably they would need some more support).
Backstab. But I think you are right that the card is slightly underpowered. As a 3/3 it would be insanely broken though.
This card is much better than Ice Block in most situations. It's going to be a hard card to use most efficiently though, but with good decision making and matchup/game knowledge this card will just be insane.
Agreed. I think it might have some 'niche' uses if the meta is correct, but most of the time, it'll just be an 8-mana do nothing and a dead card you really don't want to draw.
It's a very cool card, but it's just not that good.
Hunter already has the best DK in the game. Deathstalker Rexxar is single-handedly carrying the class on its back (barring Baku-Hunter).
Yet DK Rexxar has the second lowest played w/r of all the deathknights according to hsreplay
Likely because the played win rate is comprised of good and bad players’ results. It’s the DK with the most decision making, therefore the most difficult to play optimally.

Twilight Geomancer never saw play. It was arguably one of the worst cards from WotOG.

Now you can play dragon priest without dragons Wyrmrest Agent

Usually around a week or two after the initial reveal.

Anyone remember the turn 3 14/14 VanCleef Savjz got in a tournament way back in day?

You usually want as few cards as possible in card games.
