posted a message on Is it worth crafting Scourge Lord Garrosh?

    Title.

Lately I've been having fun playing Mill Warrior, but I'm missing Scourge Lord Garrosh which is regarded as core in the deck. However, with other significant cards like Sleeping with the Fishes, Ravaging Goul etc., is it still worth crafting him? Do any of you reckon the deck will still be viable without these cards?

Alex, no doubt. Alot more flexible, it's a neutral and it's part of the Classic Set. Alanna is your typical "win more"-kinda card and not even needed in big spell mage.

posted a message on Mammoth Bundles - Share your packs!

Only one legendary unfortunately, Uther of the Ebon Blade, but a golden Bonemare, 6 epics (one Corridor Creeper) and 3 golden rares plus an additional 1435 dust. Not the best, certainly not the worst given that the Creeper and the Bonemare was worth 800 dust on their own in addition to the 1435.

posted a message on Too many epics to craft. I have 800 dust. Can't build any deck.

Also, class specific Epics are the same cost as the Neutral ones because they have strong syngergy with their respective classes.

This is exactly why Hearthstone is so hostile to the F2P model - the Epic cards in KnC are extremely powerful and versatile, and they have much more of an impact than any legendary tbh. That being said, Epics are Epics because not everyone "should" have them, exactly because they are this powerful. It sucks but this just leaves you at a crossroads - either spend money, get the cards you want/need or don't.

posted a message on Disenchant Golden Archbishop Benedictus?

    Hey guys.

I've been hesitant to DE my Golden Archbishop Benedictus... he's only going to stay forever a meme-card, right? I mean, it's kinda cool to copy an entire golden version of your opponents deck and thief priest is kind of fun but that seems to be the extend of it.

posted a message on Spend money in HS

I think I've spent around 500€ on HS over the last 4 years. Thinking about how much time I've spent playing Hearthstone compared to how much I've been enjoying it, I think it's actually quite ok given you can afford it. Hearthstone is a P2W kind of game, and the 3 sets every year pretty much forces anyone who wants to play competitively to invest atleast some money in the game. However since Un'goro I've only spent around 60€ in total on Un'goro, KotFT and KaC packs and instead just been disenchanting Wild cards and using whatever savings of dust I had. This has, again, only been possible as I've spent alot of money on the game previously.

My point is; if you're the type of guy who likes to win, who likes to play the game for the competitive aspect of it, then you "need" to invest money in order to play the game to its full potential. However, if you're the type of guy who just casually enjoys play every once and a while and prefer the gameplay over winning, I wouldn't even start buying pack as you need to invest atleast 200-300€ to have the cards for just 4-5 of the best decks out there.

posted a message on How good is Val'anyr?

As the title says: how good is Val'anyr? I see it used in various aggro paladin decks, be it Murloc, Silverhand or just the casual aggro list... but is it worth crafting? To me it just seems awkward in an aggro list as by turn 6, most aggro deck should already be close to sealing the game. How much value can you actually generate from the effect of re-equipping it after your buffed minion dies?

    Inputs are much appreciated!

posted a message on So I am thinking of crafting darkness for my Big Priest.

I do not recommend crafting it either. I was unfortunate enough to open 4 legendaries which are probably some of the absolute worst, the Darkness included. It just doesn't fit in any deck right now, I've tried with several decktypes like Mill Rogue, Bounce Shaman and Infinity Druid... it just takes up board space and doesn't really have an impact on anything. Your opponent usually just saves removal tools for it anyway, so at best it's a heavy bait for removals... but it's just not worth it.

posted a message on Legendary Tier List & Crafting Guide

Don't dust Hadronox, I'm playing him in Infinity Druid and he's actually quite viable in that archetype! Onyxia I would definitely disenchant tho, I've never ever seen an Onyxia in ranked play. Same goes for Taldaram. Mukla, Moroes and Illidan are candidates as well, but as mentioned, there's a chance you might end up seeing them again in your Classic Packs from Tavern Brawl. It really comes down to how much you need the dust.

As for the rest of the KnC legendaries, I think it's too early to concider crafting or disenchanting legendaries. I only crafted Epics so far, as most of the powerlevel in this expansion are found in these - however, I do believe that Aluneth will be staple in any aggro/tempo Mage deck. Other than that, most of the legendaries of KnC seem very tech and not really like a "mandatory" craft for any archetype. Which is kinda nice in my oppinion.
