Quote from SpazzMaticus >>WoW hasn't even Night Elf Paladin, lol
The art of that particular card is odd. It's a Night Elf in how their skin and hair looks, but they have blue eyes, which is strictly a High Elf thing. I'm going to just assume that this is all just the broadest swath of characters they could come up with that still relatively adhered to the Alliance/Stormwind vibe of the original dudes.
And another thing that might influence it: the WoW race/class combos have been getting extended where they basically want every race to be able to be every class. They are doing this class by class, and a bunch of them have already been done, including Warlock, which got a special Questline for it to explain how the holiest of holy Lightforged Draenei were now suddenly possible to become Warlocks, despite that obv clashing with their usual nature.
So it is very likely that Night Elf Paladins are a thing sooner rather than later, even in WoW.
You can get eyes like that on nelf in wow

I'm not sure if it will actually shuffle the deck. That would be important for some interactions.

I read in another article that Kotick will have to report to Phil Spencer, Microsoft Gaming CEO. I'm sure Kotick will be removed after the transition and replaced by Spencer.

From Iksar's AMA #20, he said all the cards that were specifically created for the Core set will move into wild. So we get to keep them.

I noticed the quill in Book of Mercenaries is red like a phoenix feather. Maybe that has something to do with it?
