I've crafted a similar deck but found that I can't draw the cards I need to fast enough, and I don't have enough healing. Have you had the same issues?
For my very first run, I picked Priest and won on the first try. The rest (I only have 4 total) have not been as easy.
In general, I have found that it's best to stick to one hero until you win. I was switching around because it gets boring sticking to one, but I found that you start to learn what your options are going to be.
Aside from my luck with Priest, Hunter was fairly quick and easy as was Druid. With Druid, I had double health and the spell that Pyroblasts until someone dies. I tried my luck on the last boss (with the odds in my favor) and won.
Mage was pretty tough for me. I would get to the last boss and end up losing. Eventually, I won with double health and minions costing 5 that are normally 5 mana or more. My deck contained 7 Molten Giants, a couple of duplicate spells, at least 2 carnivorous cubes, and the card where you can take two turns in a row. I was able to beat Azari, the Devourer pretty easily.
I'm amazed that you played 47 matches in 6 hours. I play fast, and I don't think I could get in 7-8 games in an hour. Maybe people are more likely to hit concede at the higher ranks.
Appreciate the list and guide. I played a variation and climbed from 20 to 13 pretty fast but then hit a major wall.
This is similar to the deck I've been playing around with lately. I'm still tweaking it and am going to experiment with swapping in some of your cards, namely Reno Jackson and Spawn of Shadows. I have to say that Mukla's Champion and Mirage Caller have not failed me and add quite a bit of fun, as does Barnes (if he pulls out an inspire card).
I'm not a huge fan of Curious Glimmerroot to begin with, so I replaced them with Mass Dispel (works great with Dirty Rat) and Shadow Ascendant, which comes in handy after the Soulpriest + Circle of Healing combo.
I've been playing a variation of this deck that replaces Barnes and Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound with Mirage Caller. I was tired of waiting around for Barnes or always getting him when I played Shadow Essence. It's not perfect, but sometimes you get crazy numbers on your Mind Blast (even better in wild where you can throw Emperor Thaurissan into the mix! This was in standard.
Thanks for posting. I've enjoyed playing this deck, and so far it seems to be the only Priest deck able to stand up to the others. I swapped out Acidic Swamp Ooze for Eater of Secrets and it is working well. I would keep Holy Fire (in response to another comment). I've used it almost every game now for an extra burst.
I initially disliked this brawl because it was super easy to win with Kel'Thuzad, and I kept getting crushed by him. But once you find the weaknesses, he was beatable. I came to really like this brawl because of the challenge and strategy in trying to win with Rafaam. I think in the long haul Rafaam had the more solid deck, but K'T was fast.
Great idea, but I have to echo others' comments about the imbalance. I've played maybe 10 brawls, and each time Rafaam has not even come close. It's been a blowout each game. Maybe do more testing before releasing?
I have been playing a very similar deck, based off of one Zetalot was playing early last week. I switched out Thoughtsteal with Mass Dispel, which is underrated in my opinion. For me Thoughtsteal is too much of a crap shoot, and I've gotten stuck with class specific cards that are pretty useless. Mass Dispel is more aggressive and is effective against Dreadsteed decks, amped up Murlocs, etc.
Great job and thanks! I don't even have some of the key minions you suggest but was still able to win on first try with your deck. Mainly, the Kel'Thuzad + taunt minion + Maexxna combo came in very handy. Also, stealing his Tirion Fordring and throwing him into the mix was pretty sweet!
At least you could complete quests using different heroes. The worst brawls to me are the ones where you have to assemble your own deck from your own cards. I have mostly cards from one class, and I like the brawls because you can test drive other heroes.

I have to say, I really like the new backgrounds for the LOE environment.
That's all!

Great deck. Thank you!
I am short 1 Big Game Hunter and 2 Mindgames. I ended up putting in an extra Mass Dispel and 2 Shadowfiends; the latter came in really handy.
