I dusted her because I had a golden version of her
Not sure I'll craft her again since I just didn't enjoy those types of decks in the first place.

And that's good! Rogues will still be viable without being overwhelming. They'll switch their pirate package to a less optimal package due to these nerfs, opening up new decks that were destroyed by rogue.
With rogue being gone, warrior will see less play as there are more warrior counters than rogue counters.

For me, on PC the nerfs aren't here... do I need to update HS to get the nerfs?

    1. Get the Voodoo Doll discounted to 1 mana and Mecha'thun discounted to 9 mana then Zap!  Voodoo Doll

    2. GetMecha'thun to 1 mana through Jepetto Joybuzz and figure it out from there

    3. Get Mecha'thun to 7 mana through Galvanizers andShudderwock then Voodoo Doll and Zap! it.

Very flexible, some are better than others.

They already said that they canceled Tournament mode because it wasn't feasible or interesting at all. The community doesn't know what it wants, so there's no good way to make a Tournament mode.

If you start burning your portals then technically they add a card to your deck, but ya otherwise they really do not help with fatigue, also they seem kind of worthless lategame anyways...

He has hit legend before, also not sure what that has to do with anything

Sure he makes misplays, but the main purpose of the video is to show how the deck could play out, mostly for the purpose showing if they are interested in it.

Countess Ashmore on 7 then this on 8 seems pretty good imo, then if you find a way to duplicate this, maybe heal druid would see play as a control/midrange archetype?

He's comparing late game threats to other lategame threats. Shudderwock and mecha'thun are generally better lategame "threats" than this card + baleful banker, as that isn't a game winning play. It is certainly a value play, but that really doesn't mean that much in a combo world... but we don't know what's coming up.

Probably downvoted because he mentioned Ungoro having a solo adventure when it didn't.

I don't see what's terrible about Rumble Run after the changes, it's a lot of fun. I enjoy it more than monster hunt.

posted a message on HCT China Winter Playoffs 2018 - Decks and Results From Top 4 Players

I don't understand why people are complaining about the meta with the classes. Sure it looks bad that all 4 people picked hunter in their lineups, but there are THREE different hunter decks being played, and all of them have different play styles/patterns. Midrange being the fastest type of hunter deck, then a more midrangey/slower spell hunter deck and then deathrattle hunter which is really slow. I can understand the argument "Oh but once you play deathstalker rexxar they all become the same value game", but that requires them to play rexxar, and if the decks play rexxar when they are behind, it can be just out temped. (Not denying it's a strong card, but it doesn't make the decks play the same)

Same goes with priest and paladin. 3 and two decks respectively, but they are DIFFERENT decks. They are different play style and game wise. They all do different things.  Clone priest is a form of control priest that goes heavier on the win condition, while control priest goes all in the hope they have no healing/fatigue gameplan and then the OTK priest prays you aren't an aggressive deck.

Sure there are a lot of similar classes, but they are all different decks that do different things. I would argue to have greater deck diversity than class diversity. When there's greater class diversity it tends to be one dominant type of deck for a class, so you know what you are probably going against. With greater deck diversity you have to change your plan throughout the game depending on the types of cards they play.

Also quick note about druid. These nerfs were not that long ago, so of course it's risky to bring in a class got heavily nerfed, not to mention the nerfs alter the pace of druid so heavily (Can no longer wild growth into oaken summons), so with the class being drastically different, it's a no brainer to play it safe and not bother with druid. As for druid on the ladder, druid is not an easy class to play, even before the nerfs, it was still a game of using your resources correctly when needed. Druid still has some decent decks, but all of the other decks still need to be tested and people need to start learning how to play druid differently. I'm not saying druid is a great class, I'm just saying it's not dead and give it time for people to relearn the class and experiment more.

posted a message on Upcoming Hearthstone Balance Changes - Wild Growth, Nourish, Level Up!, Saronite Chain Gang, Leeching Poison

Wild Growth will always ramp you up to 5 mana, letting you play a 5 mana card on turn 4

Greedy Sprite is a deathrattle, that doesn't always let you do that. They don't always kill your Greedy Sprite the turn after you play it, so you still have a 4 mana play on turn 4, then you get a 6 mana play on turn 5. Sure you get the body, but if you have a 5 mana play that you want, you play Wild Growth. If you have a 6 mana play, then you play Greedy Sprite

Also Wild Growth gives you the option to draw a card. Greedy Sprite doesn't.

And Greedy Sprite is rotating in 3 months.
