PLEASE VISIT THE NEW THREAD TO BLOW OFF STEAM! CLICK ME
You all must realize what thread this is, and the purpose of it.
This is a thread with the intended purpose of being an outlet for all of your salty moments.
This absolutely does NOT invite others to come and make ignorant posts and belittle others out of boredom, fun, or any other reason.
People being salty are using the thread for it's intended purpose, some more abundantly than others. Posting to harass, flame, or otherwise provoke any other user is not acceptable in this thread, or any other thread. Keep it to yourself, or at the very least pm it.
This is not "that one thread where you can say anything you want". Take your nerves elsewhere. People are inherently on edge when they post here, we don't need others escalating things.
This is to some extend an attempt in reducing the number of rage threads, to focus everything on one place the other part of the idea is, that I feel like blowing of some steam myself and this is a good excuse. ;)
To make this work following rules:
1. you can be angry but try to keep tone somewhat civil. The one or other f-bomb doesn't hurt though.
2. Be angry at everything BUT other members. This works when this is a place where you don't judge other people.
3. keep the forum rules in mind, no names and stuff.
So RNG screwed you over? You faced the fifth 100 hp warrior with you favorite deck that's weak against warrior? Undertaker is worse than cancer? Leave the rationality behind you, let the rage flow through you and when you cooled down go back to the rest of the forum or game being relaxed again.
So I'll start with getting my tinfoil had out and hate against my internet provider or the illuminati or anything because god damn! Control Paladin) vs Mage (no clue what kind, secrets, archmage, healbot, freezing but no aoe, double flamestrike). 28 god damn rounds. 28!! back and forth HP bounces up and down and of course one of the MVPs was Cairne which he got through unstable portal. Screw that... Stayed on the board for ages. But anyway, I remove everything, didn't draw in my weapons or muster the whole game but slowly I get it and than the turn, Muster, Hero Power, Quatermaster. One quatermaster in hand. He had no flamestrikes left he was dead, probably no chance of anything. I wonder why he takes so long. Connection loss. After all this brutal grinding, connection gone.
My start today was bad but I started to getting back in this flow, than this game and I was smelling, tasting victory, a huge moral boost and than my ISP, the illuminati, or some divine power thinks it's time to fuck with my internet. Heck he might even DDOS me, who knows!
PS: I'm tethering through my fucking phone to write his...

As if not saying something can make something untrue.

I don't know how hard this idea is...
"Innervate is not an overpowered card. It just limits developers' ability to give druid good cards with reasonable cost because they HAVE TO account to Innervate accelerating these cards, and the fact that even with a 10-mana cost they can't guarantee the druid would only be able to cast it and NOTHING ELSE."
MAYBE they should have thought better to give 1/5 for Spreading Plague. MAYBE. That's it. If you are facing an Ultimate Infestation with 8 mana crystal, yes it's still backbreaking, but not the end of the day. But facing UI on turn 5/6, where you would only have 6 mana crystals to respond? That's a problem. And what enables them to do this? Innervate.

I don't remember seeing any post saying Druid would be OP in this expansion when all the cards were announced but the expansion had not gone live. A lot of people expressed their idea that Ultimate Infestation is just a plain good card but not impressed with its 10-mana cost. Many considered Malfurion the Pestilent to be a "bland" card. Spreading Plague weren't all that much discussed other than "will it interact with Gadgetzan Auctioneer? (gasp)".
Now, we are all pointing fingers at the designers, hm... I am not quite sure I follow this logic.
Before ye'all show up with your torches and pitchforks, let me say that I am on the side that Innervate should be changed. You see, I played druid way before the word "Jade" was even printed on any cards, way before Standard was even a thing. I played with Violet Teacher, Power of the Wild, Gadgetzan Auctioneer, Emperor Thaurissan and Malygos in all sorts of token/miracle/spelldmg decks, and am at the receiving end of many stunned silences from my opponents. The only real enabler to all these ridiculous decks, was Innervate. Druid never really get very powerful late-game cards because Innervate exists. Ramping spells like Wild Growth is okay because you are often skipping your entire turn to try to time walk your opponent in terms of mana crystal. Innervate is not that at all. I don't know if you still remember, but there was a time when those hyper-aggressive decks were running amok and aggro druid was among one of them. Those decks forego any Wild Growth and opt for Innervate to enable them to play bigger minions really early in the game.
My point is, Wild Growth is a ramp card, but Innervate is not. Innervate is a cost reduction card. The closest comparison to this card is probably Preparation (aside from The Coin, but we will talk about that later). They both cost nothing to cast (aside from using a card, of course), are spells, and help cast things at a reduced cost. Take a look at Preparation and its limitations. It is limited to "spells". It is limited to the "next" "single" spell. It belongs to the Rogue class, and rogue doesn't have ramp spells. Does Innervate have all these limitations? No. The mana gained can be splitted to two 1-mana spells if need; it can be used to cast anything from your hand; and more importantly, Druids can ramp.
I still remember how devastating it is to have your opponent goes Preparation into Sprint. If your opponent did not have certain keycards, now he/she will have them. If your opponent had run out of cards to deal with your early aggression, now he/she is back in the game. How is it that the design team could have missed the idea that Innervate into Ultimate Infestation with Ramp spells as backup might just be a wee-bit OP? I don't know. I am not here to bag on them. I am also one of those that just look at the cards as individuals and think, "Hey, how bad could it be for this to be cast on turn 9/10, right?", "Hey, is that 5 damage impactful enough to justify casting it?".
We can all say that Ultimate Infestation is badly designed; that Spreading Plague shouldn't even exist. But we are wrong if we do. Ultimate Infestation is a fun card. It is a 10-mana spell. It should do something backbreaking, or why would I even consider throwing in a potentially dead card for 90% of my games into the deck? The loudest complain right now, is along these lines: "OMG they just RAMP RAMP Innervate Ultimate Infestation refill hand 5 DMG 5 ARMOR OMG OMG" and "Ultimate Infestation was never cast on turn 9 or 10, it is cast on as early as turn 6! How could other decks handle this kind of play?" And the enabler for this? Innervate.
So you see, Innervate is a card that has to be changed, or it has to go. The reason is not that the card is OP or what. It looks innocent enough, to be honest. But the problem is, with this card still in Standard, the designers will never be able to print good cards with high mana cost for the Druid class. Imagine if the expansion only gives you Malfurion the Pestilent and some crappy cards with ridiculous cost and underwhelming power, would you be happy? The outcry would certainly be much less, but that makes nobody happy either.
If I were to propose a change to Innervate, it would be to rephrase the "Gain 2 mana crystals this turn only" into "Refresh up to 2 used mana crystals". This limits the ceiling of spell cost a druid could cast in a specific turn while still enabling the miracle style of play to exist. Aggro decks can still use it to accelerate without the ridiculous Innervate Innervate Sludge Belcher line of play. This puts the "you can only cast X cost spells only when you have X mana crystals" limit back into place.
But seeing that they just outright killed Patron Warrior and the Rogue quest, I suppose they are just lazy and will just come up with some lousy way to kill the card.
Edit: It is Malfurion the Pestilent, not Malfurion the Pestilence. Oh wait...

If you really have to pick a SINGLE legendary to craft, then The Lich King. As a neutral minion, it can be put into any class you might play. It fits into a wide range of midrange and control decks. It is certainly NOT the most powerful card in the set, but considering usage and flexibility, The Lich King is really no-brainer. It has immediate impact to your board state with its 8/8 taunt body, and also replace himself with a deathknight spell in your hand. If left unchecked, it simply wins you the game. The opponent is forced to deal with it immediately.
The three princes are just too situational even if they somehow becomes good. The deck limitation simply isn't friendly to players if they are on-a-budget, so to speak. If you have a specific deck that you are sure to be playing for the coming 12 months, then yes, do craft away. This also goes for the DK hero cards as well. While some of them are quite good, you really need to invest deeply into some of the class cards to be able to effectively use them.
Funny enough, The Lich King reminds me of Dr. Boom. As a 7-mana card, Dr. Boom is of course very powerful, and can goes into a lot more decks with its cheaper cost. But what if Dr. Boom has taunt, and instead of summoning 2 boombots, it simply adds 2 boombots into your hand that cost 1 mana? Will it still be the plague that people had once whined about for like eternity? Or will it be a crappy card?

Ugh, horrible experience.
So I was browsing hearthpwn with Google Chrome, suddenly it forced me to merge my account with a twitch account. Clicking the "do this later" button didn't work. Refreshing the webpage doesn't work. Clicking literally everything else doesn't work. Al....right, so head on to merging. I had a twitch account but forgot both username and password, struggled with it for a while, give up. Sign up a new account, merge, and voila, merged. And..... it keeps showing the "hey your account is merged sign in with twitch account" page. Reloading does not help. Entering "hearthpwn.com" into the url does not help. I need to clear all the browsing history and try again, and finally get back in.
Is it supposed to do that? Is it intentional to force me to merge and use a twitch account to login? I personally hate websites that shares account information and logins as I view this as very insecure. Everything works fine for now, but by god what an awful experience this is.
Edited: Please have the official response of Fluffflashor , which can be found down the pages, for your reference. Thank you. Also a big thanks to the staves' support.

It would be funny if they decided to "buff" it so that it now draws 15 cards instead of 5.

Grim Patron is not viable, they said. 3/3 is an insignificant body size, they said. The card requires too much setup to work, they said. The multiples can be easily cleaned up, they said.
