posted a message on New Legendary Minion - Whizbang the Wonderful

If it wasn't related to deck recipes and if there was a custom deck made by Whizbang, it would be an instant craft for me. Too bad they don't want to implement that. Otherwise, great for new players.

They also indirectly nerfed my Al'Akir the Windlord by nerfing Rockbiter Weapon, yet Cold Blood still exists.

Now Al'akir is unplayable, it was my most favorite card since I started the game.

You guys are not alone for being victimized if your favorite cards are nerfed. I know this feeling.

Mechs are so useless right now, but the new expansion will fix it.

I'm still hyped up to these days.

Here's some more cards I'll add to the main post another time (8 Control Hunter cards)

"This is a Hunter Weapon!" is a reference to Hunters in early WoW, who could use most weapons.

All of them are great, but I really disliked the legendaries, they just seem not "legendary" to me.

Bloodbound hunter looks awesome, I like it.

    Quote from KKoolis >>

Im a bit comfused... when I read worst design, I thought of cards that are so bad that actually harm you when you play them but people seem to be talking about what they think was broken OP.

If we are talking about worst design as in, NEVER play this, ever, not even for memes, Moorabi . There are cards like Millhouse and Duskfallen Avianna but both of them are consciously terrible, as in, the designer went for a very high risk-ok reward card, kind of taunting you to play it if you have the balls. On the other hand, Moorabi is the pinacle of a half-assed archetype that could never work, introduced in one of the most broken and lame metas the game ever saw. You can't even play him for his body in arena because he is understatted. If he was a mage card, he would be ok, slow but potentially good. In shaman he is just a failed experiment no one cared about. I play almost every day and I don't think I've ever seen him played.

If we are talking about broken... I agree that MSOG was the absolute worst meta ever and I actually quit the game during it and came back just before KOTFT. I'd say Jade Idol bit since I came back a little bit before gheist was introduced, no. There have been many sick and oppressive cards that got fixed, like the Undertaker who still haunts my dreams but I think Mysterious Challenger is the card that triggered me the most throughout the years of playing hs. It always seems like the paladin who is supposed to be a good guy get's the most scumbag cards lmao.

Moorabi was okay and creative, it's just they didn't push hard enough to make it freeze shaman viable like they're doing to mechs right now.

I agree that MSOG was the worst one, even I quitted too. Not a fan of Dirty Rat, Brann Bronzebeard, and MCT.

But it makes those cards more logic.

And also other classes don't have a tech like that. It's silence with decreasing attack. Huge advantages for only 2 classes. I think they must be balanced. They are basically removal but you don't want to remove huge deathrattles (Hadronox, Sylvanas Windrunner etc.). So there must be a drawback and it is already how polymorph and hex works in warcraft. that change kills two birds with one stone.

Comparing to Assassination yes it's OP, but Assassination does not see play due to lose of tempo, unlike vilespine slayer which does saw a lot of play for tempo play.

I personally think it should stay this way because some classes need some special removal, that's the way I think. But nice cards you have there anyway, it's a great flavor for warcraft and other videogames as well.

It would become less friendly towards new players and would be annoying if we did not kill it for turns due your opponent constant pressuring you (assuming it would be aggro), I would say it's a bad idea.

EDIT: Plus nobody would like to count remaining turns.

    Carnivorous Cube.

Just doesn't fit hearthstone right, just enable some broken combo.

Like all weapons, it's a big loss if you get hit by an ooze. I'm skeptical. Also, if your opponent isn't really playing a minion based deck, what do you get out of it?

Same scenario with every weapon, haha. Like as if that attack numbers matter for control warrior.

Stormwatcher has been an interesting card, it's basically an 8/8 aggro card, but a bit slow and weak against taunt minions, do you have any words about him? I really want to know how much you succeed with him since I liked that card but never tried it out. Is he really that good?

Anyway, I'm ready to play that deck once Boomsday comes out!

posted a message on Ysera and The Lich King

Ysera has a bigger body that deploys big minions and powerful swing or disruptive spells, it's a card that wins you a game if it stays longer, has greater survivability than Lich King.

While Lich King just maintains board control well with his taunt and has aggressive tools to control the board. It becomes online faster than Ysera.

Ysera is a win more card with nice power in late game, while Lich King is looking to maintain his board control.

I personally like Ysera, but Lich King can do a big job especially if you're lucky to get what you needed.

@strudel_hs referring to second legendary warrior card as I thought every class has 2 legendaries, but I forgot that legendary spells are a thing.

But when would you use Floop and Splintercraft? I also don't see the point of having Biology Project there, I guessed it's a theorycraft.

posted a message on Will Boomsday be partially ruined by people’s love for silence?

I agree with so many others that silence is a fair mechanic. I think the meta will be completely different when the mechs come. If the mech get buffed out, it can get out of control, which is why silence are needed.

From what I've seen, Mechs are still weak, it's just they are given to have charge and the ability to trade minions (especially large minions). We haven't seen a strong Mech yet that stands alone itself (Warrior legendary mech is hiding). But, with this new ability called Magnetic, Magnetic minions have given it as spells that powerful buff the mechs and that's pretty much it. Once you have no mechs on board, you will have to play standalone mechs which they currently look weak right, at least for now.
