I have played a ton of Questless Exodia Mage in Wild. I am very excited for Aluneth but i'm not yet convinced it belongs in Exodia Mage. Hand management is absolutely critical for combo decks, so unless the deck is designed specifically to dump your hand every turn after you equip the weapon, it might be a really bad idea.
2. We have no idea how the meta will be play out. We have no idea what the decks will look like. It looks like we may even have a version of Exodia Mage back in Standard that works without Open the Waygate! That is a deck that also carries a number of dead cards in hand for a significant portion of the game until the combo is assembled. Who is to say that a build of Temporus Priest isn't possible?
This is actually insane! Finally we're gonna be able to play Awaken the Makers, perhaps even Temporus.
Everyone is talking about Awaken the Makers, but I think you got it right @Purple_rat. I can easily see a Priest deck that is just cycle and removal and the only deathrattle minions are Obsidian Statues. Once they are both dead, you play Temporus and Twilight's Call. Your opponent takes their two turns which is now much trickier because 2 of their minions will die unless they have silence(s), and then you drop your Prophet Velen, Mirage Caller, Mirage Caller, and a Mind Blast or two for 40 - 80 damage.
At this point, it totally looks like Blizzard wrote off Freeze Shaman :( That's not to say they won't return to it in some capacity in the future, but said future doesn't look bright at the moment.
We haven't seen a whole stack of cards from KNC yet. There may be one or more Shaman cards, or even one or more neutrals.
Well of course. However, there are only three Shaman cards remaining; that doesn't leave a lot of room for additional one-offs, considering that they are pushing Totem Shaman and that we already got a side-card in Unstable Evolution.
Any card with Freeze on it can and will provide a boost to Freeze Shaman, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Blizzard still cares about this half-realized archetype they created.
Yes and no. It all depends on how you view Hearthstone. I play the long game. Each set, I get excited even for a single card that can improve an archetype. I main Wild, not Standard, so I am not worried about getting a whole bunch of cards inside a two year window.
No. I played a fun Jade Shaman deck with him last week. Aya survived one turn, I played Moorabi, Glacial Shard, Glacial Shard on her. Opponent immediately conceded.
That is a lie, glacial shard only target oponets
Actually, I remember what happened now. It wasn't Brrrloc orGlacial Shard. My opponent was a Priest. They played a copy of my Aya Blackpaw. I used Glacial Shard to Aya because she wasn't on my side of the board.

My apologies. I wrote this in a hurry from my mobile. I meant Brrrloc. Honest mistake, true story.

The memes are real. Shimmering Courser looks legit for Unicorn Priest.

Clever. I did not have high expectations for the Rogue weapon but this is a really fun, cool card.
