Once I have completed all of my pack openings at the launch of a new expansion, I will use gold to keep buying packs until I hit the pity timer for "one last legendary". I usually only do that if I am within 10 - 15 packs of the timer. After that, I start saving gold immediately for the next expansion. I usually have between 10k - 13k. Rinse and repeat. Good times.
While it's certainly true the game needs to make money for it to exist, the prices in this game are utterly ridiculous. How come all these small indie companies can make card games as good, if not better than Hearthstone and charge a fraction of the price for packs? Blizzard isn't charging us this much to keep the game afloat, they're doing it because they can
How dare they? How dare they create a product that consumers want and then charge the maximum price that the market will tolerate. It’s almost as if THEY ARE A BUSINESS AND NOT A CHARITY.
Yes. I have 7/9. I only play Warrior and Hunter on ladder (ugh, lucky me). To avoid temptation I only play all others in casual. Once I have all 9 (probably by expansion 2 this year) I will have the freedom to play whatever I want again!
This is one of the only Hunter decks I have ever enjoyed. Thank you! I am playing a Wild version where I cut the Bright-Eyed Scouts and replaced them with King's Elekk because my luck with Scout is terrible :)
P.S. You may want to consider renaming the deck to EZ Clap Hunter ;)
But this promotes roping and no one wants that game
Obviously the algorithm would have to test for roping too. But I don't think it would promote it anyway. Aggro wants to play quickly, they won't want to rope. Every other deck has a "normal" length game (i.e. not dead at turn 4 - 6) so I really don't think it would be a problem.
This is the same as my wish, but I would state it another way:
Make progression on the ladder (i.e. number of stars you receive at the end of a match, irrespective of win streak) inherently tied to the length of the match.
This would take away the incentive for people to play aggro decks, because right now aggro can play at least double or triple the number of games as other decks in the same amount of time. If aggro is not earning win streak stars for their 4 minute games then it becomes just another deck based on the merits of its win percentage.
Definitely Mage Imo, the only scenario it's good is in an aggro mage list that caps out at this card that finishes with burn spells, otherwise you're just gonna mill. Can't be run in freeze or quest, possibly in tempo but it's a very low tempo card. If aggro burn mage becomes a thing this will be good, but I can't see it happening.
I don't know if I agree with this quite yet. It is possible that there is a secret / tempo / aggro shell with Aluneth in Wild that runs the 6 dead cards you need for Exodia. You repeatedly vomit your hand on to the board, using your minions for board control and draw into Exodia. Maybe.
That's not really a problem with The Darkness. It's called counterplay. How is this any different to your opponent Sapping it, or killing it with Shadow Word: Death?

Hello :)
Go and check this deck out. It is pretty much the best Mage deck you can play at the moment, and requires very little dust:

If you would like some help playing it, I am online right now (NA). Send me a direct message.

One aspect that hasn't been brought up yet is what it's like to actually pilot this deck.
Let's put it this way - this deck takes up one of my precious 18 deck slots and I call it "Giant Yawn" because I find it boring AF.
If you like high-roll garbage, you may enjoy it ;)

Heh, yeah. This deck isn't "good" at the moment, but it sure is fun :)

Do not disenchant anything. You will eventually regret it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a Hemet style (spell) card for Hunter in the future - Destroy all minions in your deck.
