There is no replacement that's as good as Spirit Claws but you COULD try Lightning Bolt

If you're just starting out and need other, more vital, cards for certain decks then by all means DE it. I've never run a deck that used two, and while there might be some kind of deck that could, the card would still be worth more to you now as dust if it gets you an epic or legendary you really need.

To all users flaming: This your only soft-warning. Stop flaming over the deck type, only post constructive comments about the OP's deck.

Yes, ZooLock is a simpler deck to play. No, that does not make players that use it automatically a no-skill noob. ZooLock has seen play at high level tournaments, and I wouldn't call many of those players "no-skill". Heck, Amaz used ZooLock in VGVN, and he's one of the best Priest players out there, even pre-Naxx when Priest was bottom tier.

Quote from Sonserf369 »If this is supposed to be control oriented, why run Leper Gnome? Zombie Chow seems 100x better if you're planning to go midrange rather than full aggro.
Also, Voidwalker is a pretty underwhelming card. You'd be better of replacing it with Shattered Sun Cleric or Ironbeak Owl.
I disagree. When facing hunters and other warlock, I always always mulligan for a voidwalker and an abusive sergeant, especially if im playing turn 1, since this combo clears their buffed undertaker on turn two. this leaves you with board control. I do think if this is meant to be a control then zombie is better than leper for turn 1 Since it'll survive common drops like cleric, undertaker, etc.
what is the purpose of Harrison jones? Is he meant to draw cards or remove weapons? If remove weapon then ooze is a better option for your curve, and won't screw you when you want to play your doom guard or soul fire.

Savjz ran two Gadgetzan Auctioneers, not two Sludge Belchers.

to be fair, the deck's not geared for zoo/aggro decks. If you're wanting to fair better vs. those match ups, I'd sub in 2 unstable ghouls, maybe a senjin > spellbreaker, take out the gorehowl for another death's bite. I listed all the changes I made from KitKatz' build, so you're able to sub things in as you wish. Good luck :D

Nice deck and great work! But in speaking of 'Budget', it is not quite, it is just the 'budget' version of the fancy C'Thun Mage in which there are more legendary cards. In my opinion, no offence here, the real 'budget' C'Thun Mage deck should include merely no legendary cards (excluding C'Thun as it is free), almost no epic cards, less rare cards, and mainly common and basic cards. Here is a budget C'Thun Mage deck I have made with first wing of the two latest adventures being purchased, it is best for new player (accounts). Hope everyone will enjoy it :) Thanks!
What is worth considering in this budget deck is Acidic Swamp Ooze, Spellbreaker, second Flamestrike, and another copy of Cult Sorcerer or Sorcerer's Apprentice etc.

Draw a card, if it's hunter's mark, concede.

To counter hunters u may need one Shadow Word: Pain, or even two if you really hate huntards and always meet them on the ladder.
Btw, Loatheb is the worst card against aggro decks. But it is so important against other decks, so it depends on you and what classes you face the most on the ladder.

I had no idea what above people were talking about.
Yes, you are right, with a Gorehowl equipped, and Warsong on the board, then you summon 2 bloodsails you can do 27 damage regardless of the warsong. But the right sequencing should be, turn 7 or so equip gorehowl, and next turn or so, warsong + 2 bloodsails + whatever with below 3 attack (minions with enrage + inner rage/whirlwind etc. if you like to boost further damage). Hopefully your tasty gorehowl won't get wrecked by any weapon destroyers.
Good point! Be patient and control the board in early game until you draw your combo pieces and do OTK. GLHF!

I strongly agree with you. The nerf of UTH made hunter a deck as you described. Although people may consider using cult master or loot hoarder, it doesn't make a big difference.
2
I prefer the latter deck, it gives you a strong position from mid game and has some sort of defence against aggros.
Zoo is a good deck to start with but it doesn't mean that you are unable to learn the game from hunters. As I said, if you ONLY want decent ranks, do start with hunters first. If you want both ranks and game sense, then start with zoo, but I won't guarantee you a faster climbing speed compared with hunters. If you are interested, check this zoo list. GLHF!
1
If you only want high ranks, craft hunters. Both hunters and zoos are great for climbing the ladder, but hunters are naturally favored against zoos.

I put my faith in this comment!

Well, I had the same concern as you did buddy. I do agree that zoo has a little more skill than hunters, not that much to be honest.
Yes, hunters are almost everywhere, those huntards play for ranks not for fun, did someone just say "there were legend hunter players and legend priest players, and hunters were easy to play and get to legend"? If it's that easy to get to legend with hunter, then does a legend hunter mean that much?
Also, if hunters are everywhere, then create a deck to counter them. More taunts, more heals, be resilient and control the board. Hunters are still winnable, it all depends on the draws and decision-makings.
