and the body of a nightmare amalgam is the exact same as the body of a blackwald pixie, how is this confusing.

Nightmare Amalgam is a 3/4, and the effect associated with the card doesn't benefit this deck at all. The card is essentially just a 3/4 body.
So replacing Nightmare Amalgam with a card like Blackwald Pixie has no downside, as they both serve as 3/4 bodies.

So answer the damn question about why Nightmare Amalgam over Blackwald Pixie. You never gave a god damn answer.

I guess I didn't phrase my initial comment correctly? Either way you still ignored 2/3s of the initial comment and answered only the first bit. Again. How is Blackwald Pixie EVER WORSE than Nightmare Amalgam?
I'll re-type my comment: "There's no internal synergy and if you just want a vanilla 3 mana 3/4 aren't there better choices?"
I know it's for the body, I never questioned running a 3 mana 3/4. That's why the two replacements I asked about had the EXACT SAME BODY. What I'm asking about is that aren't there better choices for a 3 mana 3/4? You never answered the question. I gave you a reason as to why Nightmare Amalgam *MIGHT* be bad in some extremely fringe circumstances. I never said people played crabs or dragonslayers on ladder, I just said that WHAT IF you encounter one.
Here's a simple comparison:
Nightmare Amalgam: 3 mana 3/4 dies to random crap that is rarely encountered but could be played.
Blackwald Pixie: 3 mana 3/4
According to HSReplays, there were 8500 crabs played in various ranks/casual since the nerfs so that's not actually that little just saying. You never gave any reason as to why Blackwald Pixie is not as good and you just keep saying it's for the body. THEY HAVE THE SAME BODY. I'm saying is Blackwald Pixie is *STRICTLY BETTER* than Nightmare Amalgam because Blackwald Pixie is literally just a 3 mana 3/4 whereas Nightmare Amalgam *CAN* be destroyed by crabs.

Um sorry... You are misunderstanding my point. I never said I wanted to run Blink Fox and the two example minions I asked about have the exact same BODY as the Nightmare Amalgam. I asked whether Blackwald Pixie/Tanglefur would be better. Sure Tanglefur is probably crap but I'm sure, I just wondered whether it would be good and you replied thanks btw :D. Tanglefur, Blackwald Pixie and Nightmare Amalgam have the same stats. Like what Aphexa said, I just don't see why Blackwald Pixie is ever worse than Nightmare Amalgam.
Since all you want is the stat line, they're both 3 mana 3/4 minions.
Maybe some random person techs hungry crabs or dragon slayers, I don't know? Even if it's 1 in 10000 it's still possible. You're never ever going to use the "all" tag on the Nightmare Amalgam since the deck has no random card generation or synergy. You are also basically never going to use the battlecry from Blackwald Pixie because it's basically useless...
So to this deck, one of them is a 3 mana 3/4 no text and the other one is a 3 mana 3/4 with the "all" tag. Since you NEVER benefit from the "all" tag but occasionally in maybe 1 in 10000 games you face someone with a tech card, isn't it just strictly better to run Blackwald Pixie. It's also cheaper for the budget players who might want to try this deck out but are missing the Amalgam.
Thanks

Why do you run Nightmare Amalgam? There's no internal synergy and if you just want a vanilla 3 mana 3/4 aren't there better choices?
For example Blackwald Pixie. I understand that you will never want to refresh the hero power BUT if your opponent somehow techs dragonslayer/hungry crab they be able to kill the Amalgam but not the Pixie. There's also the Tanglefur Mystic which gives each player a 2 mana minion. It might be bad i'm not sure, but it could also give this deck a little bit of refill while being rather useless to your opponent. I just don't really see the upside of Amalgam.
Thanks
