Racing Clock is pretty strong, a 2 mana card that pings and draws. It'll be a staple in almost all your class' decks.
Future Researcher is pretty weak. You don't have a lot of cards that easily shuffle your cards into your deck. I see that you have changed up your card lineup, but it still suffers from under-supported mini-archetypes, this time being shuffling into your deck. You only have two cards that shuffle things into your deck this expac, one is very clunky, and 2 that directly synergize with it. This could probably be a 4/5. However, I must confess I do not remember if this is a new or old archetype. If this is an old archetype that received support from your initiate set, ignore this part of the feedback.
Rinse and Repeat is hard to evaluate, but I feel like it *miiiight* be ok when compared to kangor's endless army.
I'm not sure if Turn Back Time is all that good. I would price it at 8 mana, so it is a fairer Psychic Scream.
I finally started some work on my own class:
I'm like 90% sure dealing 4 is better, but did 3 damage version as a sanity check. With dealing 4, you need at least 8 minions to deal 32 damage, on top of the 6 needed for the quest, which means at least 10-14 discover cards in your deck, assuming you can do some chip damage to compensate for the lesser number of Discover cards. That is a really hefty restriction that I think I'd be ok with. I included a 3 mana option just in case, but I think at that point it is a far worse Bazaar Burglary.
Chromatus seems a little weak doesn't it? It does seem weird calling a 10 mana board wipe + reno weak, but it requires a lot of setup, so it is hard to tell just how useful he is. You have to be holding 6 cards, or play so few minions that your board state is extremely passive for multiple turns.
Chromatic Breath is fine, but giving your hero Divine Shield is a little strange, while Sapphire Breath just seems to be the clear winner.
Another class starting to experiment with fatigue.
Delayed Machine is rather strange. I think it's ok, but I feel like it doesn't really achieve a whole lot and the card slot could be better utilized. It also goes a bit against what appears to be a tiny big mech theme with instant automaton, since you want to draw it by turn 6. Now being able to draw it with card lessens your chance of getting a 12/12 taunt on turn 6 from happening.
I don't really get racing clock. Do you draw first the turn after or something, automatically before your opponent?
Lastly, and this is something I can't really put into an eloquent comment, but this week's expansion from you feels less cohesive than your others, not quite as unified in playstyle or focus. That can be a good or bad thing, but the bottom line is it *is* something I noticed. An example is what I said a bit above, how you have a tiny big mech theme that is like 1 build-around card and two big mechs to go along with it.
Two questions, if we choose Scholomance to we need to make 14 cards (including dual cards)?
Can we choose the expansion that we set for the class launch?
Yeah, I mentioned this to other people who asked. Whatever expansion you choose, you just follow everything in it, rarity distributions, dual-class, etc.
Read the information section over again.
What does pre-Core expansion mean? You may select any expansion before the Core set was introduced! Anything from GvG all the way up to Darkmoon Faire is up for grabs.
Hey, congrats to eveyone who made it. A shame I won't be able to see the continuation of other classes.
I have two questions about this week:
1, I'd like to go with Descent of Dragons as an expansion. What rarity distribution should I follow (as DH was not around back then), a classic 3322 or the Demon Hunter Ashes of Outlands distribution?
2, Isn't the 4th BOON option in challenge impossible? It requires 4 point but every Bane is for 1 point, so you'd need to do all four of them, but in order to complete the first Bane (Showcase a card from every rarity) you require a boon where you can showcase 4 cards which costs 1 Bane. So you must have 5 Boon points, but can only collect 4 Banes. Is that right, or have I misread something?
You follow whatever rarity distribution you expansion had.
I'll tweak the requirement to force you to show at least 1 common, 1 rare, and 1 epic.
How many cards of each rarity do we need to make exactly?
Ashes and Scholomance gave Demon Hunter 2 legendaries, 2 epics, 5 rares and 6 commons. (Excluding the minisets and only counting half of the dual class cards).
Dark moon however have him 2 legendaries, 3 epics, 2 rares and 8 commons (not counting miniset).
The Custom Class Competition is back for its eighth iteration! Veterans and newcomers are welcome as we kick off the first Hearthpwn Class Competition post-Core Set!
This is the Submission Thread! Discussion here is not allowed as this is where contestants will submit their custom class cards.
Unfortunately, JollyCroquet, LivingOrganism, and wintrmute scored the lowest during Week Two, and they are eliminated.
There should have been 4 eliminations, but there was a large tie for 4-last place so only 3 eliminations took place.
This is a posting tutorial for the website imgur.com. If you use another website, the process will be similar.

Overview
All contestants will create one custom class, following the layout of Demon Hunter.
The contest will run for 5 weeks.
Week One: 10 Basic cards.
This contest, as Demon Hunter introduced Rush and Lifesteal into the Basic Set keyword pool, the list of keywords you are allowed to use is as follows:
The following keywords are banned. Discover: It is strange for a new player starting out with a Basic set to be discovering from cards they have no idea of. Secret: Complex mechanic, requires at least 3 out of 10 of your slots. Class keywords: Blizzard is pretty clear about saving these for Initiate. Immune and Counter: Far too niche to have a place in Basic.
Week Two: 10 "Initiate" cards.
"Initiate" means the supplemental 20 cards Blizzard printed for Demon Hunter. Yours do not have to be named Initiate.
Week Three: The other 10 "Initiate" cards.
Week Four: Your pre-Core expansion cards.
Week Five: Core Set consolidation + 15 post-Core expansion cards.
Be sure to read over Rules & Information section as there is a lot to go over this contest due to the complex shifts caused by the introduction of the Core Set.
Submission Format
You must adhere to the following submission rules or risk disqualification:
Unless otherwise stated, you are allowed three cards to showcase. All other cards must be hidden in a spoiler.
You may include flavour texts. For the showcase cards, their texts do not need to be spoilered.
All tokens must be in a spoiler.
You may include a single banner at the top of your submission post. It may not be overly fancy. This is entirely subjective and the moderators have the right to remove a banner they feel is too fancy and, therefore, gives an inherent advantage over other posts.
Golden cards are not allowed, nor are huge images that feature your cards with a background.
If you choose to include other images other than a banner, they must be hidden behind a spoiler.
Flavour text is allowed behind a spoiler.
Golden cards are not allowed.
Challenges
Week Four has *a lot* of challenges, or rather, a challenge system. You may *pick and choose* boons and banes this week! However, the banes and boons you pick must even out to be 0 points.
Example: You have 3 points in boons, you will then need to pick 3 points in banes, it does not matter how you get the three points, so long as they are equal.
BOONS
You may showcase a 4th card. (ONE POINT)
This boon has two options (TWO POINTS):
If your chosen pre-core expansion has two legendaries, you can have one as a spell or weapon.
If your chosen expansion mandates a legendary minion alongside a legendary weapon/spell, this Boon is not applicable, example, KAC, Ungoro
Instead, if your chosen expansion has one legendary minion, you can replace one epic card with a legendary minion. (This is what happened in TGT)
You can bring back an old cycle from a past expansion, example, Illidari Studies. (TWO POINTS)
If your chosen expansion had one class with only one Hero Card, you may also have one like Witchwood, Rastakhan. (FOUR POINTS) If you expansion was one where multiple classes had a Hero Card, this Boon is not applicable.
BANES
You must showcase at least two common cards. (ONE POINT)
Only three cards in your pre-core set can have four lines of text. (ONE POINT)
You have a choice: No Deathrattles, Rush, or Taunt in your pre-core set. (ONE POINT)
You must have a card for every mana cost between 0-10, inclusive. The remaining four cards do not need to follow this rule. (ONE POINT)
Rules & Information
How is the Initiate set split in half?
There are 8 commons, 6 rares, 4 epics, and 2 legendaries. That makes splitting the Initiate set in half rather easy.
For Weeks Two and Three, contestants will create 4 commons, 3 rares, 2 epics, and 1 legendary.
What does pre-Core expansion mean?
You may select any expansion before the Core set was introduced! Anything from GvG all the way up to Darkmoon Faire is up for grabs.
What does post-Core expansion mean?
Either Forged in the Barrens or United in Stormwind.
What do I do about class cycles?
You must have at least one all-class cycle from your chosen expansions.All-class, in this context, means both a cycle shared between all 9 classes, or a cycle that the League of EVIL classes or Explorers classes share.
While, at first, it seems to make sense that your custom class should adhere to all all-class cycles in a given expansion, Demon Hunter, for example, did not have a Prime legendary, therefore you only need to use one such cycle.
What about card cycles not shared between all nine classes, like Studies spell cards, or Aspirant cards?
You may pick and choose from those, these are not mandatory.
What about Hero Cards?
So after much debate and discussion, Hero Cards are allowed with an asterisk. More information will be given, but for now, take note that they are only allowed in Week Three.
Can I rename the "Initiate" set to whatever I want?
Yes.
What watermarks do I use?
For the "Initiate" set, you can use whatever watermark you think makes the most sense. There is a list of watermarks here.
Do I have to follow the rarity distribution of the Demon Hunter Initiate set?
Yes.
You may not introduce a Legendary spell, weapon, or Hero in the Initiate set as there are none in the current Demon Hunter example we've been given.
Do I need to adhere to Warcraft lore?
During this contest, I will be experimenting with asking contestants to integrate a little bit more Warcraft lore into their submissions. However, for the most part, you will be free to ignore Warcraft lore.
Do I need class-exclusive keyword?
No.
Can I do a Monk or Death Knight class?
No.
Can I create my own spell school or minion tribe?
We'll try this out this competition: Yes, you can.
Competition Process
Week 1: July 7th - July 14th Week 2: July 17th - July 24nd Week 3: July 25rd - August 1st Week 4: August 3rd - August 10th Week 5: August 11th - August 18th
All threads close at 3 AM, EST. There may be delays due to United in Stormwind being released. I also do have some overnight shifts at my workplace, so I will give 24 hours notice if there needs to be a delay.

The order entries are presented in was randomized to provide classes that were submitted later a little more exposure compared to classes submitted early, which had more views in the Submission Thread.
Each entry this week will contain only the Hero, Hero Power, class keyword, and the three showcase cards selected by the entrant. Tokens that are relevant to the Hero Power or three showcase cards are also included in a spoiler.
Zag'arak is a Vizier, a high ranking official of the Black Empire. She commands both endless skittering swarms of Larvae, Drones, and other small insects as well as towering Aqir, Qiraji, and Nerubian. Being insectoid herself means strong chitinous Armor and her ties with the Old Gods, coupled with her race's natural abilities, grants her powerful healing.
The Vizier Imperial Set continues to expand on unconventional Armor gain and health manipulation as well as reinforces Larvae synergy by giving new ways to generate and interact with them. It also introduces a powerful new playstyle, Taunt synergy. The second half also introduces some specific tutoring cards to the Vizier's arsenal while also giving support for playing multiple Dormant cards.

Yeah I can extend it by another few days to a week if needed.
