Perfectly Balanced 

It is definitely one of the most unique decks in hearthstone. You will regret not playing it for the rest of your life. Don’t wimp out and craft something less fun and satisfying to play.

I put off crafting it until a week ago and I only needed Sonya and the quest... personally I love playing it and wish I had crafted it day 1 of Boomsday.

Obviously you want to play quest rogue. 

People who don’t like quest rogue are people who enjoy playing control decks that nullify all aggro and they hate quest rogue because quest rogue is like delayed aggro that nullifys their attempted nullifications and does to them what they were trying to do to you and they hate it and think it is unfair when they were actually playing unfair against aggro in the first place with their undercosted removal.

Which is why quest rogue has a game plan to get undercosted minions, because it is the only way to combat cheesy minion removal.

 I would take one golden pack, but I’m thinking since the community rewards were all 2 packs so far that if there were any golden pack involved... it would be 2 golden packs...

just imagine how many people would cheer bits to get 2 golden packs there at the end if they revealed that last minute. Blizzard would probably triple their goal.

 Yeah teenagers can definitely get jobs. I was more referring to 13 and under because that is who they seem to be tailoring the new content towards.

Yeah I’m not really a fan of the sir annoy o artwork... nor was I a fan of the mecha jarassus artwork. Also the emotes for MJ are not as good as they could have been.

maybe sir annoy o will have better emotes, but I still think Arthas is a much more suitable portrait as he is the quintessential Paladin in shining armor. Maybe the only one that is hands down better than the original.

Actually I found out what you have to do... you have to go to your twitch desktop site and there is a loot tab and a button you click that says redeem loot or something. 

Only then do they give you your 2 boomsday packs.

I got that bundle too. I’ve only really ever bought bundles. I bought that get in here bundle a bunch of times and got every common and rare and a fair amount of legendaries epics and dust.

Maybe they will give all those communal goal rewards with the card back? They usually tend to do their giveaways all at once instead of trickling them out, like with the packs we received for voting awhile ago.

The only reason why I did this was because I’m new to the game and needed some packs and another card back option. Wasn’t my favorite event to participate in...

There are links there for deck lists on this site actually. Definitely the most well made guides with the cheapest/easiest decks. And I tried a lot of different guides and was really struggling until I found this guy.

no. Artifact won’t be a day one purchase for me and I’m going to wait to hear what people say about it before I spend any money on it.

Like I said Hearthstone is the gold standard. But I’m definitely annoyed with them for the direction they are taking the game and I know I can’t be the only one.

Artifact is coming out for Christmas season also this year which is technically when Hearthstone will release the most impactful expansion of the “year of the Raven”. Artifact doesn’t “look” that fun to me, but looks can be deceiving. I don’t have fun watching other people play games. Richard Garfield and Valve working together seems like a dream team, the DOTA thing though... not so much. The act of playing could for whatever reason be really fun and addictive and Valve will make money and push for a progressive mobile release date. I know Blizzard is definitely sweating Artifact. They don’t want anything to mess with their money printer so they have to take any threat to that dead seriously.

Nobody really knows honestly. Everybody is talking about how complex Artifact is. But nobody knows if it is fun. 

If it ends up being really fun despite what at first glance appears to be complexity will turn into intricacy and depth, and that could end up being part of what makes Artifact great.

This all is dependent on the experience of playing the game being a fun experience and not a tedious one, but nobody here has played the game so nobody knows.

As far as the game requiring 20$ up front to play for which you essentially also get a starter pack of cards, I think that could add to the quality of the game and reduce the cost for players overall.

If you notice everyone who is saying that Artifact will suck and that nobody will play it because it isn’t F2P, is F2P. They are all mad because they know they can’t play Artifact for free so they want it to fail. But If Artifact turns out to be really good then I’m sure they will pay to play it. I think that Hearthstone players are mistrustful of Artifact because of the predatory nature of card games in general, whether CCG or TCG.

A lot of people are dissatisfied with Hearthstone at the moment and are waiting for a true alternative to present itself. Hearthstone is definitely still the gold standard, but their hubris has been growing and people are tired of getting so blatantly milked. 

Hopefully Artifact will end up being something special, I’m going to play it when it comes out and decide for myself.
