I think they meant that they tested it before announcing the nerfs and that’s why the nerf hits so hard... No clue how you managed to interpret it that way.

I'm glad you've had success with them, and I have also played a bunch of those types of cards too, but I haven't really played a bunch of wild with lots of TGT cards, nor have they popped up in a tier 1-2 deck, which was what I was going off of. I'm not saying the expansion wasn't fun, because I had a good time playing it, but during it's time in standard, not a lot of cards had an actual impact.
If I were to include how the cards have done in wild, then yeah a lot of the inspire cards would be better just due to better hero powers being around now. Cards like Spawn of Shadows saw a ton of play in Reno Priest, adding a ton of burst to it and cards like Totem Golem still see play in aggro/midrange shaman. I'm glad you've been able to find success with them, but that doesn't change the fact that most of the cards were bad/suboptimal while they were in standard.
you are right, as a wild player when I make my opinion I think in wild, but you are right in standard that expansion was never good, but at the end that expansion found its place in wild, I am so glad about that, right now some cards in the witch Wood are already good in wild, for example I will use Cathedral Gargoyle in my dragon paladin deck, it will be a great add, that is why I love wild mode, also in wild there was a control meta once, when control shaman was in the top, that time I reached legend 95, it was amazing, a thing that all standard players have required, a control meta, that meta was a thing in wild once :D and it was beautiful

it is Blizzard inconsistent card wording, sometimes works like Woodcutter's Axe, and sometimes doesn't work, like N'Zoth the corruptor

It doesn't counter Knig Togwaggle, remember you play towaggle algong with azzalina, so you also copy the Zul'jin from your opponent

I think the only bad designed Dks are mage, hunter and Warlock Dks, all other are fine
