Yes exactly. If you don't buy the new expension. You just know that you will be able to play competitive. Or even just a few decks that you like because of the cost of the cards.

On the other hand there is the feeling of losing everything that you worked for. You already spend so much time and money. That the barrier is way to high to quite

 Yes this is one of the things that I noticed. It's not only the fact that you want to come back every day. It is also the amount of reward. You (almost) never get 100 gold (so you can buy a pack) out of a quest. So after completing the quest. You are motivated to play a few more games just so you can buy a pack.

When you do get 100 gold out of a quest. It is because you have to ask a friend to come online. This will make your friend wanting to complete his/her quests. It's really smart if you think about it.

For my study I am researching the desing patterns of Hearthstone. And after reading into several research papers, I am willing to say that there are some design choices that will likely keep you hooked (if you like it or not). For example: I am playing Hearthstone from the moment that it just came out of beta. In the last few years I had some moments where I just knew that I wouldn't buy the next expension. But as you can see now. I'm still here.

I am not asking this question because I want to be negative in any way. I completely understand that Hearthstone is designed for fun. But also is designed to make a profit. I'm just really interested in the opinion of other players. Let me know ;)

 Yes this is exactly what I mean. And I think that it wouldn't be a big problem to lower the powerlevel if they come up with interesting game mechanics. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

Yeah I think you are right. The powerlevel is to high. I hoped that the nerfs that happend a while ago would help. But I'm still facing allot of the same decks. But you are right. I will just try to enjoy some of the more obscure cards in the set. Luckely I have quite a lot of them XD

Ik don't know if it just me but this last expension isn't that much fun. Or as Rexxar would say: It didn't quite hit the mark. For the last few weeks I am just waiting for a new expension to be anounced. I am looking around for some information but I can't find any news about a new expansion. I'm just hoping that there will be some news soon that can bring me back on the hypetrain. 

I would really like to know of there are more people out there that feel this way. And does anyone know if there is something that I can look forward to?

Galvadon will probably the legendary that you will receive when you will complete the quest ;)

I really like the play floors. I like to climb the ladder but always had a weakspot for hunter. Glad to know that I can play hunter more often without being punished to hard!

I like this card. I hope that there will be more cards that will push Hunter toward a class that supports control type decks

Was there any reason to?

This card has potential in a few decks. I would love to try this als a turn 7 (nightmare dragon + blessing of might). Perhaps even earlier with dragon consort.

Love the art. Love the idea and love that palladin gets a litte bit more badass!
