YoHabloEspanol posted a message on Is Mindrender Illucia worth it?Posted in: Card DiscussionPeople cried so hard about her pre launch without ever considering how difficult she actually is to play correctly. Its not a card you can just toss out and expect to win on the spot. Very skill intensive card. And im glad because its such a cool effect. If you love priest, I'd say its worth it.

Pageturner posted a message on Scholomance Academy Launch Day - Everything You Need To Know!Posted in: NewsThat's an excellent question. Although I can't say for sure, I would bet that Headmaster Kel'Thuzad would have to be golden. I say this because it's Kel'Thuzad's effect that's summoning the minions, not the spell.

Zion7 posted a message on Players Receiving Scholomance Academy Packs From The Season Chest Was UnintendedPosted in: NewsWell this was a error in our favor if you ask me. Why would we want packs from old expansions that we already have most of the cards we want, when instead we got NEW expansion packs that feature cards we don't have. This is a win.

enoX_36 - yeah greater healing potion is a good heal. But like other guys said - you can put basically whatever you want and then optimize. Core cards will always be the same (like 20 cards) and the rest can be changed depending on matchups or personal preference.

I mean for me it is fun and I reached top1000 legend on EU last season with it and this season I'm currently at D2 (I only played this deck).
About that legendaries - emperor and loatheb are not necessary imho and I dont run them in my list.
Kazakus is nice to have, you can get some polymorf effect, clears and draw from him. Instead you can run like kabal courier, zola, some other value card.
Thalnos is great. Against aggro he is amazing with spirit lash, can pump breath of infinite to 3 damage and he is a draw as well.
I also run Azure drake, which is kinda like thalnos, but for later (and helps in dragon package). I think if you dont run thalnos you need additional healing, because he is amazing against PW and DH.
In current meta you need to accept you'll never beat quest mage, you'll loose a lot against secret mage and mecha cthun will also destroy you, unless you pull combo piece with rat. Gluttonous ooze is a must have. Psychic scream as well.
I don't believe this deck is that easy to pivot and I've played it a lot in the past and now after unnerf.

200 iq play :D Just amazing.

I love playing Priest in Wild and watching those DHs slowly realizing they have no chance to win. I am the keeper of the legend wall keeping those aggro players in Diamond rank :D

I play the Shadow of Death Rogue - with Waxadred, Cursed Vagrant, Stowaway and other otherwise never played cards :D Today I killed HL Hunter with double King Krush. Messing with this deck around D10-D5 in standard and winrate is around 50%.
1
I agree :D Actually that is kinda the reason I switched to DH - if you can't beat broken, join them.
But don't worry, I'm in Wild Legend already, so I will play some reno DH instead :D
Anyway, overall winrate of my deck in this very limited sample was 83%, with score of 15:3. I lost to reno warlock, reno mage (with 2 iceblocks and topdeck reno with 1 health) and DH going first (with priestess drop turn 7 on empty board). Final boss was pirate warrior with no chance.

It has some necessary tech, which is really useful in most matchups. Chief Inspektor can be played as 5 mana 4/6, which is fine imho.
EDIT: I found this deck few days ago, tweaked it a bit and decided to keep Cobalt Spellkin, because it gives you silence / mana burn, which helps a lot.

I have no idea what you're talking about, I had only 100% winrate yesterday :(
3
Well they want to achieve 50% winrate for all. This means they need to queue you against counter decks to keep you low. In other words - welcome to my life. 😄

I wish this kind of deck was playable in current Wild meta, but at least from my experience it's not fast enought and you get fucked by stupid combo decks / quest mages...
