Well, you're talking like tempo is restricted to the Tempo Mage deck you used to play back in the day, while it's just another archetype, just like aggro, control, combo or midrange. Just because it looks very different from the older version of the deck, it doesn't mean that the deck is not tempo anymore. The new deck plays just like a tempo deck would play in any other card game, prioritizing its removals to keep board control while dealing damage to the opponent with its creatures.
The golden cards are completely optional and they just add an aesthetic feature to the collection, not affecting the gameplay at all. In most games, skins and other appearence-changing items are only obtainable through microtransactions, while in hearthstone you're still able to get the golden cards without spending a single penny, although it may take a while. Golden cards should stay the way they are.
After playing card games like MTG and Yugioh, I can't say hearthstone is pay to win at all. In order to build a competitive deck in some MTG formats, you need to spend a lot of money, and the same applies to YGO. Altough it may take some time, in hearthstone you're able to build a whole competitive deck without spending a single penny. Of course spending money will get you there really faster, but in other card games you can't even play without spending a lot.
Well, I'm playing since the closed beta, so I've gathered some cards until now. I always finish the daily quests (always trying to get a 60+ gold quest), since they are the most important way to make gold... Arena is really good too if you can make a good deck and afford to get 7+ wins constantly.

I think she is one of the main reasons to play Big Spell Mage...

Now THAT would be pay to win.

Don't call her that. She's an Ice-lady.

No. Acidic Swamp Ooze is a tech card, just like Harrison Jones. It does not have any OP effect or anything, it helps against a specific meta.

I say DO WHAT YOU WANT 'CAUSE A PIRATE IS FREEEE
I love fast games, they remind me of playing goblin decks on MTG
