    One mana tutor for a specific card, do 4 damage and create a 5 mana 7/7 is far too strong even if the Juggernaut didn't exist.

    I've said it before, but the balance Wild needs is some means to interact with quests. The only way control will ever be seen again is if there is some kind of tech for them - battlecry, set quests back by a stage - or some such.

    Why do people keep suggesting Dirty Rat and Mutanus are 'tech' against quest hunter? The hunter controls when they complete the quest and will not leave themselves open to rat unless they are a terrible player. Mutanus is completely irrelevant, both from that perspective and because you are dead by turn 7.

    Loatheb, Spellward Jeweler, Nerubian Unraveler... these are all decent tech choices and have the benefit of working against Ignite mage as well. But the point, of course, is that you need to be lucky and find the tech card, while the hunter has essentially perfect consistency and does not need to be lucky. Even then, cards like Loatheb only delay the inevitable for a turn, unless you're actually killing them immediately.

    The only real counters, as pointed out above, are armour and aggro. Personally I just play Reno lock, take the 90% loss rate against hunter and farm everything else that's trying to aggro them out.

    It's hard to see the Wild meta ever moving beyond the new quests, unless some kind of tech interaction is introduced. The rock/paper/scissors construct is dead now that control is so weak. With pirate warrior now having infinite sustain, it's not countered by control in the way it used to be. Anything that can stop pirate warrior is pretty much automatically dead to quest hunter and you cannot interact meaningfully with either.

    Geist is no answer when quest hunter is killing you on turn 6. You only have two at most and you cannot tutor for them in any kind of reliable way. Finley/Grizzled works and is incredibly satisfying against raza hunter, but it's a two piece combo that you need to get in place by turn 6 and which is pretty awful against most other matchups. The only real answer at the moment is faster combo or faster aggro, making the format even more obnoxious for us control players.

    It wouldn't be hard to come up with a tech card that combats the new quests without killing them completely in the way that Team 5 usually do nerfs, or killing the old quests. Something like Archenemy: a 3/3 for 3 with a battlecry that regresses the opponent's quest by one stage. The game will need something like this if Demon Seed is ever to be re-introduced to Wild.

    I used to climb to legend every month in Wild, but I'm very jaded with the format since Stormwind.

    I think you forgot the scenario where you're dead because you're playing 6 mana 4/5s which don't impact the board.

    No, it doesn't. Reno doesn't deal with the board the turn it is played.

    And on top of this, against degenerate OTK combo decks, which are far from rare in Wild, Reno is nothing more than a 6 mana 4/6. It doesn't reset anything when your opponent has no interest in killing you with chip damage.

    Stealer on the other hand, is overpowered every game.

    The Doomhammer shaman is completely broken. Just picked off my 9 and 10 winstreak achievements at Diamond 4.

    It can burst priests and warriors from nowhere and outrace hunters, while dungeoneer has made it highly consistent.

    Have they said nothing about fixing the double mama bear bug in BGs? Seems both easy to fix and more important than things like achievement tracking.
