Quote from TheMexijew >>I'm a casual f2p player who's been around religiously since before Naxx. I jump between wild and standard, get all the adventures with gold, and get dozens of packs from every expansion (all with gold).
This month, I hit legend for the first time. It felt like a big deal! I finally got the card back and prestige I've looked up to other players for having. But after the pride and celebration wore off, I thought "What now?" I'm currently content with being #2680 in Wild Legend. Do I just keep playing and vie for a higher spot for pride? Do I turn my sights on Standard? Other than bragging rights, what do I do now? Daily quests and battlegrounds? I had never felt the Hearthstone fatigue until now. I always had something to strive for, but now I guess I just twiddle thumbs until next season and try again then.
What do others do when they start to feel that end-of-the-month-hearthstone-ennui?
I made it for the first time last month, and again this month. Also in Wild, using my favorite deck of all time...Razakus Reno Priest. I see myself being done with the game very soon, actually. I can't stand standard anymore...WAAAAAAAAY too much repetition. I mean, Wild isn't great either, but Standard is just out of control from top to bottom with 95% of decks from a very small handful of the exact same decks. HS has been fun...I really loved it for several years. But it's felt like more of a chore than fun for a while now. I may well open the packs for the new expansion and then be done.

DUDE....Hearthstone fucking SUCKS. It is living off of the reputation it established 5 years ago when it was a (mostly) very very very good game. It fucking sucks now, though. I feel sorry for anyone trying to actually play it now and never having experienced when it actually WAS fun to play.

Who's mad?? Oh wait....you are one of THOSE idiots that think everybody who disagrees with you is either "mad" or "fake news". There's not even a shred of anger in this thread.

What a surprise...brainless aggro player has absolutely no clue.

Whaaaaaat???? Did you even read the OP, or just the title?? Getaclue.

1). Your condescending tone is disgusting. GTFO with that.
2). Zephrys is for aggro decks? REALLY? That's just plain WRONG. What successful aggro highlander deck has there ever been?? None. And seeing why is SO easy. Aggro decks rely on the consistency of getting on the board early and maintaining control of the board. Highlander decks are the OPPOSITE of consistent. Apart from that, there are never 30 aggro viable cards available to a class at any one time. The notion that Zephrys is meant for aggro is LAUGHABLE.
3). Zephrys does what? It REACTS to the current board state. By definition, it is a REACTIVE card and, as such, is best suited to a deck that has that play style...aka control (and some midrange) decks, primarily.

To all the people in denial....if you can't see the many MANY signs that HS is losing it's playerbase, and has been for a while now, you just aren't very perceptive. The signs are literally everywhere and the cherry on top is the devs asking people who play less what can be done to improve the game such that they might play more again. But hey...keep on ignoring the obvious. It's probably how you manage to get through your life in the first place.

Ummmm there were no odd decks during KotFT. Baku is a Witchwood card....two expansions later, lol. And Fungalmancer is a K&C card...so you are kinda confused.

And/or you need to git gud.

For the same reason it got nerfed the last time. Because the deck is a solitaire deck and pretty much the entire population of HS players HATE it, both aggro AND control players, except dbags that play the deck. Clear now??

That, IMO, is not 100% true. Some people just do not have the emotional makeup to get to Legendary. There is actually a pretty big difference in rank 5 compared to Legendary. Someone who tilts, for example, will probably never make Legend, even though they might make rank 5 because the difference between winning and losing above rank 5 can be so small...if you are a tilter, it's a harsh environment to thrive in. I say this because the guy who introduced me to HS himself could never make Legend no matter how many games he played...but made rank 5 90% of the time. Topped out at rank 1 once or twice, but still...never Legend. And IMO it was because he simply couldn't handle the pressure he put on himself when he would get close.
